Stayed here for a week and on the last day the wife broke her foot. I went to the office and asked if we could stay another 2 nights while she sought out treatment. Was told nothing available and had to move. I understand that, that being said, wifi was very iffy no cable TV OTA only. Had a pull through site but had to disconnect. Site was not level and had to use leveling blocks. Staff was friendly and restrooms were clean. I feel the place was way overpriced considering the poor wifi and no cable TV. Furthermore while out walking the dog I noticed more than one "lookout for rattlesnakes" signs.
Rate reflects GS discount plus tax. Site was level gravel pull through. Good wifi and good selection of cable channels. Showers were uni-sex and clean. Far enough from the xpress way that noise wasn't an issue. Beautiful view of the mountains. This is also a good place to stop on the way to Yellowstone.
$46.51 was the Military Discount, with tax it came to $52.09, wasn't worth it. In the Seattle area you are very limited where you can stay with an RV. That being said this Park is very outdated. Most sites are blacktop and around 39 foot long. We had a 35 foot 5th wheel so there was no place to park our truck. Had to park it up at the office. Only wanted to stay 3 nights but since the 3rd night was a Friday I decided to stay another night because this campground was completely filled up and if I tried to hook up there would only be about 2 feet between the end of my truck and the RV in front of me. Too hard to maneuver. My plan backfired because I expected the campground to empty out Sunday morning but it didn't. Luckily the RV in front of me pulled out and I just followed him out of the park. One must be very careful that you don't hit another vehicle in this park. Restrooms very clean, our site didn't have cable and wifi was slow.
Arrived after closing but my paperwork was on the door. $28.80 is the Good Sam rate. Site was gravel but level. No pull through sites and had to back in. Didn't really want you walking the dog in the park. Restroom's while clean needed work. Wi-Fi didn't work that great but decent cable. Woke up a couple of times during the night because of train whistles. Other than that everything was peaceful. I would stay here again.
Easy to get to from the Expressway. We were escorted to the site which was a little narrow, but long enough that we were able to stay hitched up to our 35ft 5th wheel. There were 72 cable TV channels, but the Wi-Fi wasn't that great. Restrooms were very clean. My biggest problem with this park was the dog walking area which like the site was gravel.
Since we have DirecTV we asked for a non cable site, which was on the grass, but we had no problem getting it level. 50 amp service. The owners were very friendly upon check-in and especially the 3rd day that I was there when I ran over and shattered the adjacent sewer line. Since I broke it I reported it and offered to pay for the repairs. Considering that it was over 90 degrees out and he had to dig it up to replace it I felt I got off lucky for $20. I'd stay here again if in the area.
Very narrow streets to maneuver through. Hard to get into and out of sites but once in sites were adequate, although slightly slanted to one side. Friendly staff. We followed the golf cart to our site and thankfully the guy stood there to make sure I didn't bang something. Very small gravel pet area and it smelled. Propane was $2.10 a gallon, I've never got it that cheap before. Was charged $2.00 extra for cable that brought the bill to $35.30 but the tax at 13% was mind boggling bringing the total bill to $39.89 and that was with the Good Sam discount.
Good Sam rate. We stayed 3 nights. We were here when it was really hot (103 plus) and no issues with our 50amp service. Cable TV and Wi-Fi was decent. Sites, although gravel, were level and no problems getting around with our 35 ft RV. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of the mountains. Close to town. If passing through I wouldn't have a problem staying here again.
Restrooms outdated were dirty and noticed obvious mold. Sites were gravel tight to get in to. It was a beautiful location and they did have 2 hot tubs. Guests and staff were both friendly. Only 10 cable channels but we didn't get them all. WiFi wasn't that fast.
Couldn't get here before closing but called ahead and when I arrived paperwork was on the door. Stayed in site 34 which was a pull through just across from the office. Sites were long and level and utilities placed in the right places. Clean restrooms, WiFi worked OK and 13 cable channels. $29 rate included taxes. I considered this place a bargain. I most definitely would stay here again if passing through.
While pull through sites were concrete they were not level and really leaned. Leveling blocks were needed. Spot 407 had no room on either side. Truthfully, there was 2 inches between my slide out and the one parked on my side below me. Thankfully on the other side was a Class C with no slide outs. Although we've been in some tights ones before, they were nothing like this. Wi-Fi worked sometimes and sometimes it didn't. No cable here. Only over the air channels and only 6 at that. You are very limited as to where to stay in Kansas City, but I would look hard to find somewhere else. The staff was friendly and they did forward a piece of mail to me so I am thankful to them for that.
Interacted with three different members of the staff, and they were all courteous and friendly. We received a nice souvenir pen upon check-in. Rate was based on the Good Sam discount, but you had to call in advance and ask for it. However we booked 1 night but stayed 2 and they gave us the same discount for both nights. Wi-Fi worked reasonably well, and the sites were level but a little too close together. We were led to our site and he made sure I was able to back in safely. Negative was that we were right on the road, so noise was an issue. The positive was that we were walking distance to downtown and close to the water. I would definitely stay here again if passing through.
Gave it a 7 because it was a field with Elk droppings everywhere. That being said I actually picked it because of the possibility of being able to see Elk right up against my RV. Back in 2006 I was passing through here and spotted around 50 Elk in the campground. I said then that if I ever had the chance I would stay here, so I did. Elk didn't come in the night we were there but I did spot 5 across the highway right before dark. Wi-Fi worked and the restrooms were very clean. Very helpful people at check-in and the things they sold out of their small grocery was very reasonably priced considering how far we were from town. Far enough from the highway that noise was not an issue. Also we were led to our site so finding it was easy.
First off, I would have given this park a 10 if it hadn't been for those Air Force fighter jets taking off each morning before I was ready to roll out of bed. We stayed in the new section and unlike some said there is a place to walk the dog inside the park but it is small. Level concrete sites and a place to park the towing vehicle next to the rig. Wi-Fi worked great.
While nice, long and level sites one needs 3 sewer hoses if they want to hook up to it. Wi-Fi more than sucked here and we were only 1 row and 1 site over from a repeater. I couldn't even sign in to Good Sam to route my next trip and I tried it even as late as 1am and still couldn't get on. On the 2 days we were there it was 103 one day and 104 the next. When I went to take a shower it must have been 120 in the restroom with no air or fans running. We booked 1 night but wound up staying 2. First night we paid $43 but when I went and asked to spend another night they told me the rate was $47 and when I asked why they said they couldn't give me the Good Sam discount for the 2nd night because I had to ask in advance.
This was our 1st stop on a 8,621 mile trip across the USA. Level sites. Very good WI-FI, swimming pool was one of the largest that we saw on our trip. Likewise the area around the pool was one of the nicest. Two Gazebo's to hang out at with friends. Nice place to walk the dog, but what I remember the most about this park is that they gave us 2 Mr/Mrs miniature ducks which we still have.
This place was a little overpriced. Sites were gravel and fairly level. They list 6 TV channels but we only received 4. Restrooms were clean. Beautiful view of the mountains. Far enough from the road that noise was not an issue. We ordered the campground pizza and it was delivered to our site. WIFI was intermittent.
We had a level pull through site with the lake behind us. With our picture window the view was outstanding. WiFi was OK, not fast or slow. This was a great location. If one wanted to trout fish one only had to walk less than 20 feet if on the back row and we watched quite a few trout being caught. Staff was very friendly and gave us a treat for our dog. My only complaint with this park was the bathroom really smelled each time I went to take a shower and the wife also said it smelled on her side.
Gave us a treat for the pet and 2 cookies for us when we checked in. The cookies were very good and fresh. Excellent cable service and Wi-Fi was a little slow, but it allowed me to check my emails. Sites were gravel and fairly level with plenty of room. I would stay here again if passing through the area.
While the concrete pads are very long, they are also very narrow! You step out into the grass! If wet like when I was here, you get mud and wet shoes! Cable TV but only get around 20 channels and no local channels! Very poor Wi-Fi and we were right under a repeater. Most of the people around us appeared to be construction workers and weren't around during the day, so it wasn't being overused. Stayed 2 nights at the $41 rate.
Very clean restrooms, no mold anywhere! Cable TV: 60 channels. One of the best Wi-Fi's ever! Bargain at $25 including tax. Gave us a treat for our pet. Best part was, as we were leaving the owner (?), manager (?), worker (?), crossed a large field to thank us for spending the night with them.
