This park speaks for itself. If you like the beach and want a resort type atmosphere then I recommend this place. I went on a golf outing with some coworkers and needless to say I would definitely stay here again. They have everything and were very accommodating. I dont give 10's out too often, but this place was paradise.
I have to say that the activities at the park supersede any other campground in the area. Unfortunately I felt that the rules are not enforced properly specifically noise discipline. Several families close to us played games ALL night long and were very intoxicated. (family park??) This was brought to the attention of two rangers and I was disappointed to say that no action was taken. I took note that most of the rangers are "greeters" and apparently were not in the business of enforcing anything. The kids had a great time, sites were tight, but utilities worked well. I needed to take an extra day off when I got home to get a least 1 night of sleep. I think I would pick a premium spot if there is a next time as they are more spacious. (The regular full-hookups were tight). I'm not sure if I would return...Economy not so good and money is tight I believe I would rather spend my money at a more accommodating park
I was really surprised that my 3 day (off season) stay was fantastic here. I was greeted by a very friendly lady who for the life of me cannot pronounce her name. I forgot to stop at an ATM before I checked in and she loaned me bundles of firewood until I could get cash the next day. I can't remember a place that I have stayed at that was so accommodating. The sites were immaculate, the view incredible, and the hookups worked perfectly. The only drawback to this place is no cable TV hookups which if my kids had tagged along would prove to be a problem. I think the owners are aware of this and hopefully will make a change in the future. I learned that this campground is now a KOA. I stayed here in early April which was off season and most activities were not happening yet, but I could see the potential. I would definitely return.
