Excellent Premium site in the 1300 loop. Level, paved, with brush between sites. Nice pool, hot tub, good water, electric, and cable. Can access Internet from the trading post or borrow a modem kit from the office to access Internet on your site. $9.95 for a 24 hour period. Great bathhouse and laundry. Will definitely return.
I love this place! Nice paved level site. Good utilities. Cable and Internet worked well. Plenty of lawn between sites and shade trees. They were celebrating Halloween while we were there and you could participate in the trick or treating by putting a ghost picture on your camper. Lots of activities for kids. Well run and free shuttle to the casino. We will return.
This appears to be mostly a camp for fisherman but there is a section set aside for overnighters that filled up. Gravel sites are level and shady with grass in between. Utilities worked well and TV worked with antenna. Beautiful views of the lake up on the hill and a difficult path to climb down to the beach. There is a rope the last 10 feet to assist you. Nice clubhouse serves breakfast and supper. Pool was closed. 8 miles off highway. Cash or checks, no credit cards. Good stopover.
We have stayed here before and they have added patios to a lot of the sites. We had a level shady gravel back in site. Utilities worked well. We were surprised that they don't have cable TV here yet, but antenna worked OK. Wi-Fi is free with a suggested donation of $3/day. Pool was closed.
We enjoyed talking with the owners about their future plans to expand towards the lake. There were fairly level sites where we were, but not up on the hill. There are good utilities and cable. The Wifi worked well. There is a lovely pool. Some sites face each other with shrubs dividing picnic areas. I really liked it here except there was too much gravel and it was hard to tell sometimes where the road ended and the site began. I hope they add either a little lawn or more shrubs to each site. We would definitely return.
The new section is long, level gravel pull through sites. The seasonal section is rather hilly. Free laundry was very much appreciated. Free popcorn, free Wi-Fi. Cable TV. Pool was closed. Code needed for bathhouse and laundry. Grocery close by as well as some restaurants. Dominos delivers - you can order online and track your delivery. A well run campground with easy access and big rig friendly.
This park was exactly what we needed after a long day on the road. 9 holes of golf on a decent course with a cart for $8 apiece. Park could use some TLC but the pool was clean, the site was level and the utilities worked well. Use of Internet in the office. Very friendly owner and staff. Would definitely return.
Beautiful fairly new campground. Clean, level paved spacious sites. Small trees and brush between sites. Gorgeous lawn. Nice pool. Be sure to use the correct water faucet for hookups. I think the other one is for the lawn. Restroom has code for access. No clotheslines allowed. Takes Good Sam. Grocery store, gas and restaurants close by. Will definitely return.
This is our third time at this campground and I always look forward to staying here. There are clean, level, spacious gravel sites, nice lawns, and a clean pool. Water pressure and electric were good. The Wifi worked well. Friendly staff. Easy access. I definitely recommend.
What a nice little park. Level shady sites with full hookups. Cable TV is extra. Free WiFi needs access code from office. Nice pool. Gravel road and gravel roomy sites. Friendly staff. Would definitely return here.
Our site was level and a good size with a patio, fire ring and shade trees. Everything I am looking for. There was traffic noise from the local road, but it died down at night. Nice porch at the office with rocking chairs. We were going to try the tubing but decided it wasn't warm enough. Will definitely come back.
This is a terrific park if you can get one of the regular sites. Unfortunately, the last two trips, we only got in the Safari Field with W/E: they are fairly close, out in the sun and defined by chalk lines. For the price they charge, I will only go back off season or if I can get a last minute regular site. Facilities are clean. Staff is friendly. WiFi does not work well in all locations but you can go in the office and use their computers. Easy to get to, if you are not in traffic for a Patriot's Game.
We absolutely love this campground and come here frequently. The owners know how to run the place right. Everything is clean. Nice heated pool. The playground is a little small. They do have big rig friendly sites but the roads are a little twisty and the entrance is steep. They will escort you to your site. There is a DD at the entrance and a terrific Rails To Trails in the next town. Also convenient to the trains into Boston.
We stayed in the Windmill Section. The sites were very close but it was quiet and fairly level so it wasn't a problem. The kids enjoyed the ducks, the unique playground and the pool. Rules of no jumping in the pool and no kids (older) swimming without an adult didn't seem to be enforced. I made the boys stay in the shallow end as I was afraid they would get jumped on by the teenagers. Ice Cream Sundaes on Sunday were nice. There is no escort to your site, which would of been appreciated. I think because most sites are seasonal. We couldn't make the turn to get out of our loop as there were cars parked alongside the pool. Ended up getting stuck and having to unhitch the car while blocking all traffic. One of the workers told us they TRY to catch the offenders that park there. Other than that, it was a good weekend and we would go back, although I would probably stay in the big rig section in the back pull through sites and pay a little extra to have some space.
We really enjoyed this campground! We were way up near the top where it was mostly well maintained seasonals. Everyone was friendly. We had a great pull through site with full hook ups. Internet and cable TV worked great. Good W/E. Lots of trees for privacy. Sites were spacious. I did see that sites down closer to the pools were closer together and I would hate to be in the group section as they were extremely close. It was family weekend and they sold hot dogs, popcorn, soda, water and popsicles all for a quarter apiece. Ice cream was good and reasonable price. First campground I have been to where people were actually using the horseshoes, basketball, etc. Nice looking playground. Loved the adults only pool. There were a lot of golf carts, but after walking up and down that hill a few times, I could see why you would want one. The only thing I didn't like was the congestion at the entrance: RV's arriving, bikes, pedestrians, golf carts all crowded together. I do like the rule that bikers have to walk their bikes through that area, and the security guard did stop them if they forgot. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely go back.
