This is a basic campground, good for an overnight stay. It provides good electricity, water and sewer connections. The bath rooms are outstanding and the cable TV was very good. We would use it again if we needed an overnighter.
It was an OK park, nothing special. Isolated and quiet at night. It is in the middle of cow pastures with mountains in the distance. A bit off the main roads and a good distance from Yellowstone. Henry's Lake is a mile down a road with put in facilities for small boats. My complaint is the fact that the park is a mecca for ATV's. The rules keep the speeds down but the roads are dirt and dusty and all the ATV's, including the staff, going back and forth all day long makes it difficult to sit outside. The wind is usually strong so you are frequently breathing dust.
Better than most camp grounds that are nothing more than parking lots. All sites have grassy areas to sit. I found the space between RV's more than adequate for comfortable outdoor sitting. Big open grassy area in front of camp sites where larger groups traveling together congregated. Nice people run the camp. I would have no trouble recommending this CG to others.
