If we would have known how close this campground was to the interstate, we would have stayed in a rest area that probably would have been quieter. The sites are real tight and close together. We definitely would not stay here again.
This rate reflects a Passport America discount. This is a nice park that is on a lake and is quiet. The lady that took us to our site was careful to spread everyone out, so that no one was on top of each other. We would stay here again.
This is a campground good for an overnight. The staff was very friendly and even gave us two Andes chocolates in a baggie to say welcome. The day we were there it was very windy and dusty. The sites are very close together. The restrooms and showers were clean.
This rate reflects Passport America. This is a mobile home park that is in the process of converting to an RV park. We found it to be a nice place to stay. The owner was very helpful and we enjoyed talking with him. We would stay here again.
This rate reflects a Passport America discount, and I would not pay any more than that. The only plus we found in this park is that it is off the beaten path and quiet. Some of the staff were not friendly and did not abide by their own rules. When it is dry this park is a dust bowl and when it is wet it is a mud hole. While they claim to be big rig friendly, we feel there are very few sites that would qualify. We would not stay here again.
Considering its location it was a quiet park. Very well maintained. There is plenty of space between sites and is big rig friendly. The showers and restrooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
This is an awesome park. It has a resort type setting. The restrooms and showers are immaculate. There is a lot of grassy space between the sites. Though somewhat pricey, the laundry area is very clean. We would definitely would stay here again.
Would not stay here again. Sites were very tight and unlevel. They first parked us in a gravel back-in area that sloped off so bad that we could not get our motorhome level. Then they moved us to another back-in spot and after finally getting it leveled we found that the 30 amp did not work. So they put us in a pull-through site which wasn't much better. Could not sleep because of all the train noise.
This is a small park with very tight spots. When parked with another motorhome next to us, we were within touching distance of each other. Would not stay here again. The train noise was loud and often. You have to pay extra to use the showers and restrooms. The spots were not long enough for big rigs.
This rate reflects Passport America discount. Would not stay here again. Called for directions to park and were given wrong directions, because of this we almost burned up our brakes. The campground is right behind the convenience store and off US 385, very noisy. This campground caters to off-roaders. Would not recommend this park for big rigs.
This rate reflects Passport America discount. This is an okay campground. The staff was friendly and helpful. After the rain it was very muddy. It was very noisy from the interstate. The railroad tracks are right behind the campground but were not running while we were there.
This park was a nice find for being off I-29. The owners were great and very attentive. The grounds were very well kept and each site had flowers planted. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here on 2 separate occasions in December and the rate reflects a Good Sam discount. The sites were large and spacious. The owner was very friendly. This park is off the freeway enough to be considered quiet. We would stay here again when passing through the area.
As stated in prior posts, not much to this park. It's basically a gravel parking lot with hookups, but adequate for an overnight. Price we paid was for non-members. Friendly staff, 24 hour laundry. Very close pull throughs. Lots of train noise.
