We stayed here in the Coast to Coast program. This is a fantastic park once you traverse the bridges to get here. It was so windy on our arrival day that we kept the slides closed to prevent the toppers from being torn off. For the next three days of our stay the winds were minimal and the sun was out. The ocean views are outstanding. The staff was friendly and the sites are very ample. We would recommend this park and will return again.
It seems to me that the only way the price is justified here is the location. The sites are close to each other and there are many long-term campers, some with household furniture on the patio. The people, both in the office and the other campers were friendly and we were fortunate to have a site that viewed the pond area.
This park is a gem and it is impossible to beat the price and location. There are a number of long term campers, but their sites are kept up and the people are friendly. Don't be discouraged if you encounter problems in making a reservation. It took us six phone calls over three days. On the first couple of calls we were told they were too busy and to call back another day. When you travel in this area in a motorhome or pulling a fiver, watch the warning sighs on the overpass locations. Although the road is four lane, the outside lane may be a low as 10'1"; the inside lane will be 13'+. We would highly recommend this park. Lots of trees and walking trails.
