This is the second time we have stayed here. We love this park. So quiet and peaceful surrounded by the Redwoods. This trip we were with a group and had the use of the group room. It was very nice, clean and had a pool table, ping pong table, big screen TV and plenty of tables for eating, as well as a full kitchen. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We can't wait until we can come back!
Our rate was for Ocean/Marina View, which we had and enjoyed very much. This was our first time staying at this resort and it won't be our last. We so enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, but not silent, clean and so pretty with all the plants and well maintained common areas. The office staff was friendly and helpful, as were the grounds and maintenance staff. The location is wonderful to visit all of the beautiful sights of San Diego. A great place to stay and San Diego is a must see location!
Our "rate" reflects the "Honeymoon Site", river front and it was gorgeous! Their regular sites run $45-50. They are lovely too! This RV Park has undergone new ownership and many updates. They have a nice group room for groups of 10 or more. It is quiet and so beautiful with the majestic Redwoods all around. We can't wait to return!
We were so happy to find this park on our trip home. After being on the road for 10 hours we needed an overnight spot. Travel Village was right off I-5 and had a nice pull-through for us to rest our weary selves! It is an older park that is well maintained. All buildings are well presented with fresh paint, the pool area looked spotless and the overall park was lovely. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nice park with roomy pull-throughs. Park was spotless and yet very comfortable and inviting. Easy to get to from I-10 and a nice location to see many sights in this area. We would definitely stay here again.
We were here as part of a rally group. It is a lovely park, lots of mature trees and grass. There are fire rings and tables at each site. It is close to a highway, but the noise wasn't bad at all. We were very happy to find this piece of nature in such a "developed" area and would happily stay here again.
Very nice, older park that is well maintained. The staff is very friendly and nice. We were assigned a spot that because of the way some others were pull into, we would not have fit. We asked for help and were immediately given a different spot, with an apology. The Sugar Barge Restaurant closed the weekend prior to our arrival and will not re-open until May 2010. We were disappointed about that. We will definitely return to this park, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
This is a very clean and tidy park. The staff is friendly. If you get a site on the Delta, you really are right on the Delta. You can fish from your spot (with a license) and watch the boats come and go. There are not places that you can walk to from here, such as stores or restaurants. We would only stay here again if we were going to need it as an overnight sleeping spot.
I will happily give this resort a 10 once the shade trees have "grown" up. It is a beautiful park with large pull through sites. The staff is very nice and helpful. They recognized that we were tired and told us about a local restaurant, Luigis, that was an easy walk from the park. The only thing this park needs to do is advertise more! Easy on and off of I-5.
The area we stayed in had nice roomy sites with lots of shade. The sites were not the most level, but with a little help from our jacks we were good. Even though it is close to I-5 the road noise was nominal. We would definitely stay here again. Friendly staff.
Very nice park! Easy on and off of I-40, but road noise is minimal. Easy in and out and around park, good roads. Such nice people working there and the free breakfast is a very good bonus! We would stay here again.
Very easy on and off I-10. Super nice people and park is well maintained. Gravel sites, but nice and wide with good, wide roads. There are bushes between sites for added shade and privacy. We would stay here again.
Very clean overall. A bit rustic meaning that there are no cement or paved pads. They have crushed rocks in each site. It was an easy walk to the beach and the staff was very friendly. We would stay here again.
Wow! We had a lovely riverfront pull in site. We were looking right at the Sacramento River! It was beautiful. The sites are spacious and level. We had plenty of room for our motorhome (38 feet) and room for our toad, with space to spare. The only drawback to this park is the fact that 101 runs along side, so you do have traffic noise. They have planted many trees and shrubs, so once those are matured that should help buffer the sound. We would definitely stay here again!
Easy access to 101. Lovely park, but very tight turns. Our motorhome is 38 feet and we had to watch every turn very closely. The sites themselves are cramped. We had an extremely small area left to park our toad. In fact the back brake light on our toad was "kissed" by another motorhome trying to pass by. We also had to use bungee cords to hold back the branches of a tree in our sight as to not cause damage to our rig. We would not stay here again for these reasons. The staff is very nice and they do bring a paper and have free continental breakfast in the lobby.
Easy to get in and out of, very large, true pull-thrus. But it is a "parking lot" RV park. No scenery to see in the park. If you are just looking for a place to sleep each night after a day of sight seeing this will be great. We probably wouldn't stay here again, unless it was just for a quick over night stay.
A very nice park overall. It is a Good Sam Park and they keep it very clean. You are right across the street from Devils Lake. Our site actually had a view of the lake. Even though you are close to 101 the forest between the park and the road kept the noise buffered very well. We would stay here again.
We were very disappointed in this park. It was very unlevel even though they do have cement pads. The sites were very tight and your table was on the opposite side of your RV. They were very nice about refunding our unused days because we were not pleased with the park. They do have shuttle service to the nearby casino and there are several restaurants within walking distance. We would not stay here again.
A well kept park. Easy in and easy out. Very quiet and the pancake breakfasts were delicious and priced very fairly! Convenient to Cody with a daily shuttle service to and from town. Staff knows the area and are helpful. We would certainly stay here again.
