Nice swimming pool and hot tub. Spaces between sites are nice. Cement pads. Would have given them a ten if all the inner roads would have been cement or asphalt. Lot of dust from roads. Friendly workers in office. Will return.
Beautiful view of lakes. Good fishing. Gravel road. Full hookups. Few cement pads, rest are grass. Good satellite and Verizon coverage. Country location so no highway noise. Very peaceful. Gave it a seven because there's no shower house or laundry facilities. Staying for a month. Will definitely return. Monthly rates available.
Stayed a week. Was here in the fall and there was a lot of construction going on. It's still going on so it's inconvenient going into the Casino from the RV park. There were only two washers in laundry room, one not working. Outside of those two issues this park is very nice and we will be back.
This park is part of our Coast to Coast membership parks. We had a nice cement pad, however, there are a lot of spots that are just grass or need pad replacement. The speed bumps are annoying. There are way too many and they are too high. The laundry room needed to be cleaned. The staff was very nice. We would return.
We stayed at this park as Coast to Coast members. Location was nice. Has a few gravel back-ins with cement patios. Would have rated this location higher but the laundry room needs to be updated and hot water available (only has cold water). Staff very nice. Would stay here again.
Thought the nightly rate was a little high since they don't accept credit cards, gravel sites, no units allowed over 11 years old, no swimming pool, and so on. Pretty lake. Satellite worked well. Verizon worked well. Probably won't stay here again as it's way off the route.
Beautiful campground with cement pads. Lots of construction going on around the hotel/casino so to walk to the casino entrance is a little difficult. Stayed here for a week. Would definitely stay here again.
Campground was nicely spaced with plenty of green space. The only reason I didn't give it a ten is because I came here to gamble at the Casino. The shuttle bus only runs once an hour and it is not walking distance to the Casino. The shuttle should run every 20 minutes at the least. Nice lodge with pool tables. Would return to stay on a trip but not to gamble. Was disappointed in choice of slots here. Like nickel KENO and none available.
Great park. Pet park and a pet washing site with blow dryers. Never have seen that before. Had to pull forward to get satellite dish to work because of trees, so couldn't hook up the sewer but backed up and dumped before we left. Nice width between lots. Loved going into Solvang and then to the Casino. Shuttle service to Casino available. Friendly check-in with great homemade cookies. Drove to Santa Barbara for a day. Really enjoyed and will definitely go back again.
All blacktop lot. Sites are very short in length. Only one washer and dryer in laundry area. Shortest walk to Casino of any Casino RV lot we've stayed in. You walk through a beautiful swimming area. One of the prettiest swimming area I've seen with a waterfall over a huge rock wall. Nice sized Casino. Restaurants were excellent. We stayed for 3 days. Would definitely stay here again. The price is right.
The rate is $24 for the motorhome and $6 for the toad. Nice level cement pads and blacktop drives. Covered picnic table and fire pit. Can't see river from our site but it is within walking distance. Easy off I-70. Stayed 2 nights. Would definitely stay here again.
Location is great. Lots of great restaurants are close. Has a nice pool. Friendly staff at check-in. We stayed here because of RV repair needed in Missoula. We actually had reservations in Cheney, WA. We're very disappointed that KOA campgrounds have gotten so expensive for what you get. Lots here are very narrow. It rained and we had to walk in ankle deep water from the car to the motorhome. We've stayed in extremely nice campgrounds for $25-$30 a night. We won't stay in a KOA unless there are no other options.
Good satellite and Verizon card reception. Nice gravel lots. Coupons to save on gas and a meal at locations nearby. Friendly to dog (our baby). We always clean up after her. Wish others would do the same. Easy to find off of I-90. Staying here a week.
Easy on/easy off I-90 at exit 408. While some RVers complain about the traffic noise, I'd rather have some traffic noise and not to have to drive 5 miles off the interstate to get to the campground. Friendly and fast check-in. Nice area to walk the dog. Good Verizon connection for computer and cell phone. Satellite antenna locked in quickly. Would definitely stay here again.
Very friendly staff. Lots were level. Lots of trees and view of the mountains. Close to Yellowstone. We're staying for at least a week or longer. Plan to commute to Yellowstone. Only downside was the traffic noise but that doesn't bother us, however, that's the reason for an 8 rating. Would definitely stay here again.
Only two campgrounds near Deadwood, this one and a KOA. The KOA was full and we had a terrible time getting up the hill to it and back down. We came here and the check-in was slow. Tried to wait on three of us at the same time. Shuttle to town but it's a long walk to get to the office to catch it. Lot was gravel. Nothing special but best you can get for Deadwood.
Campground is a couple of miles off of I-65 and conveniently located to Mammoth Cave. Quiet country setting. Rate reflects Passport America rate. Site was graveled. Catch and release pond. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Easy on and off exit 219 on I-65. The owners have some health issues that prevents them from doing a lot of the maintenance that needs to be done. Not many items in store to purchase. Owners very friendly. Not many in the campground this time of year but it was great for an overnight stop. Will stop here again.
As previously stated, the roads are bad getting here. There's no showers or restrooms. Has cement pads with full hookups, a barbeque, trash container, and a beautiful beach right across the two lane road. Don't feel the price should be different from one side to the other. Both have wonderful views of the ocean. Why not split the price and charge $30 for all sites? $35 is too high for the front sites. Love the Casino down the road: shuttle service is available. Stayed here before and will stay here again. Staff is friendly.
Stayed here 3 days. Staff was very nice. Rate reflects Passport America discount. Called and thought I reserved a canal site, however, was given a pull through with no view. Updates are in process. All roads and sites are gravel. For the price charged without a discount, I would expect paved roads and cement pads. Propane is available which is a plus. There is a beautiful pool and a nice bar area. Would stay here again.
Nice managers. They're updating this campground and the pool is lovely. Exercise room to be done in two weeks. Our site faced the bay and pier. Beautiful view. Satellite worked well. Verizon card worked but dropped a lot. Pad was cement with patio. Old tennis courts being turned into pull throughs. City golf course just down the road. Very relaxing here. We stayed 3 nights and would definitely come back.
Found this campground via Trailer Life. Previously not listed on this site. Very nice campground. Cement pads. Easy access off of 77. Nice laundry room. Washers $1 and dryers $.75. No swimming pool. One mile down the road is Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Mall, movie theaters, and loads of restaurants. Propane available here. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice campground with small lake. Pad was level. Close to go to Riverwalk and Alamo. Rained the whole time we were there so would like to return. Would definitely stay here. Rate reflects Passport discount.
We stayed here two nights. Rate reflects Coast to Coast membership price. Nice campground. All gravel sites. Can walk to see the river but only a few sites can actually see the river from their sites. Not much around to do. Went to Blythe, CA for groceries.
This is strictly a good overnight park. There are no amenities. The sites are large and pull-through. Camping World was next door which is very handy. Felt safe as it isn't close to any residential area.
Rate is Coast to Coast membership. Stayed in the lower campground. Sites could be wider. Long way to grocery. That's the only negatives. Otherwise a great park with lots of seasonal campers. Will definitely stay here again.
Campground is 38 years old per the lady at the desk. Nice laundry room. Sites are close but Wal-Mart is only a mile away. Beautiful Casino within walking distance. Lots of seasonal Rvers. Beautiful scenery as it is along the Colorado River. Sites are about 8 ft. wide but long. Would definitely return. Hope to stay longer next time.
Very helpful staff. Our site was not on the river. Nice pads. Can't use your satalitte because of all the trees. They have cable, but I'm spoiled by my dish. The walk to the shuttle is down a narrow road so we decided to drive. Beautiful scenery everywhere. Would stay here again but would want to be on the river.
Beautiful campground just outside of Sedona. Paved roads. Cement pads and patio. Nice laundry and swimming pool. Casino across the highway with shuttle service. Nice little town just down the road with grocery and Walgreens. Staying 3 days but would like to stay longer. Will definitely return.
Park is gravel including sites. Nice store on site. Very friendly personnel. Road to park is paved but narrow and had a lot of holes. RV parks are sparse between here and Colorado Springs so would definitely stay here again for a one night stop over. We've stayed in a lot worse parks than this one and we're full timers. A real negative is KOA's prices. We have the KOA discount but their prices are still too high for the amenities.
As another reviewer stated, the office workers and the escort could be friendlier. All seemed to act put out that they have to wait on you. Snippy answers to your questions. It's like they're doing you a favor to let you stay with them. We are full time RVers and will be passing through this way a lot. We have stayed here twice and both times there's no "hello, may I help you?". The campground is OK. Gravel sites that are pretty level. This may be the last time we stay here. The price is higher than most and I don't feel welcome.
Campground is nice and handy to interstate. Rated it an eight for a couple of small reasons. The laundry room only had one washer and one dryer so took all day to do laundry. The path to the shower/laundry building was muddy because it isn't paved. Our site was a little muddy at the entrance and the grass needed to be mowed. Outside of that, lovely park with ponds. Would definitely stay again.
About 3/4 mile from Casino. Right on the beach. $35 a night for front side and $25 a night for back side. Right across from the ocean. Beautiful views. No shower house or restrooms. No swimming pool but full hookups. Would have stayed longer but Ida is moving in on us and it's extremely windy so only stayed one night. Will definitely be back. Great buffet at Casino. Only negative is the narrow back roads getting here.
We're fulltimers, and this is our second time to stay here this year. Manager keeps the campground immaculate. Only 2 blocks from beach and outlet mall shopping. Concrete pads and patio. Would give it a ten if it had a pool. Will stay here again.
This is the second visit this year to this campground and we're staying a month which reflects the daily rate of $20 ($600 a month). The beach is walking distance across the road and it's pet friendly (rare). The fishermen seem to have no problem catching fish. I walk the beach daily for exercise and it is beautiful. The park has palm trees. We are full timers and this is our favorite place so far but then we love the water. Down sides are as former posts have said. The pool isn't heated. The lots do go uphill and only those lots that have been sold are paved. The laundry room needs to be air conditioned (used to be but not working now). Hopefully the new owners will pave the roads. Don't miss this campground.
Convenient location. Unfortunately we picked up ants on our lot that took us 5 days to get rid of. OK for overnight stay. Saw owner's son trying to get rid of stray dog by shooting it with a rock rocket gun. Would prefer they just call dog pound or take the dog to pound.
The gravel sites are level with small trees. The pool does look green so it would help if they repainted it. The casinos are handy and they are very nice. This is a truck stop area and there are lots of motorcycles in the campground so it can be a little noisy. Lots of stickers for your pets to step on and bring into your motorhome like most places in the west. Would be nicer if they had blacktop or cement pads and the price is high for what's here, but we would stay here again for the Casinos.
The campground no longer honors Passport America but is a Good Sam participant. Park has storm shelter. Previous reviews mentioned old trailers here but there aren't any now. Nice shade trees. Lady who checked us in was very nice. The only reason for the seven is because the train does run right beside the campground and it is a mile off the highway. Would stay here again on our way to Denver.
Stayed here for four nights. Mini golf course is in need of a lot of work. Indoor pool a little small but nice. Sites are a little unlevel but nice size with cement pad for picnic table. Fire pits at each site. Would stay here again. Rate is because we are Coast to Coast members.
Nice shady campground. Sites are gravel and level. Sites have campfire ring and picnic tables. Price if good. Rated a nine because it doesn't have a pool. If it did, it would definitely be a ten. Will return on our next trip to Denver.
It has nice size lots. We thought rates were a little high for no water or sewer hookup. There are lots of bugs because of brush. We couldn't get satellite in first spot because of trees. The camp office was very slow because of computer problems. We are staying for six days. We will stay here again because of visiting friends and relatives that live in the area but hope the state will add at least water to the sites soon.
Absolutely the most beautiful state park we've stayed in. Landscaping is awesome. The beach is 7/10 of a mile from campground but a tram runs every hour if you don't want to walk or bicycle. Full hookups. Swimming pool. We will definitely go back here again and again.
It is off of the interstate about 2.5 miles. One must go down a couple of winding county roads. It is very quiet. The owners are very friendly. It appears there are several full-time residents. Landscaping needs to be better manicured but campground is fine for overnight stay. The price is reasonable.
This park is 3/10 of a mile from the ocean off Alternate 98. Large cement pads and grassy area at each site. The rating was 9, instead of 10, only because there is no swimming pool or picnic tables. The rate is excellent for this area. We will definitely stay here again. We stayed in a motorhome.
This campground is part of an older mobile home park. It does not sit on the ocean as stated. You cross a very busy road and walk a narrow path approximately 2 blocks long before a visual of the beach. The price is too much for the amenities. We will not be back. If it wasn't so expensive, it would be OK for an overnight stay.
Very friendly employees. Access to dog friendly beach a plus. Gave it an eight because the roads need to be paved, the pool isn't heated, and there isn't enough washers/dryers. Current owners have only had 5 years. No mobile homes. Mostly snowbirds. We stayed a month and will return.
This RV park is situated about 4 1/2 miles from town and 4 1/2 miles from the gulf. Sites need to have cement pads (very few have them). Biting bugs and alligators so no swimming in river but the pool is very nice. There's an ice cream stand on site so you can get that hot fudge sundae. The roads are narrow. There are lots of trees. It is great for walking and riding your bike. There is no daily trash pickup at site and no escort to your site. We stayed here for a week. We would stay here again.
RV and permanent sites are mixed together. Sites are in need of new cement pads. Paved roads. Close to shopping and restaurants. The nightly rate is high since we had a Coast to Coast discount and still paid $38 a night. I was told the nightly rate is normally $54 a night. The park has several sites with doggie bags, which is a plus. We stayed 3 days and would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for a week and loved it. Would definitely stay here again. The reason I gave it a 9 is because they limit your stay to two weeks and there's only one grocery near by. Easy on and off access to interstate and short drive to Tampa.
This place has excellent sites with aluminum picnic tables. There is a pool and spa in the hotel which isn't close. It is walking distance to the casino. Trains do come through often but they are not too noisy. It has nice laundry facilities. I thought price was little high but would stay here again.
Amenities are very clean and nice. Sites could be better as they're just like a graveled parking lot, but the price is more than fair. The cable TV and Wi-Fi worked well. The pool is very nice. We would stay here again.
Easy access on and off the interstate. A little noisy from the interstate traffic. Good Wi-Fi connection. Cable picture could have been better on main networt stations. Lots a little narrow but plenty of room for RV and tow car. KOA's prices a little high compared to other campgrounds with same amenities. Dirt road leading to campground. Gravel roads in campground. Would stay here again.
Great amenities for free parking. Just need to have a player's card and do some playing. Food was excellent at buffet. Needs more spaces and pave the RV area as it's very dusty. Would definitely stay there again.
Wi-Fi didn't work. Was told it didn't work with Vista Windows. Cable lower channels, which is where the main network channels are, was fuzzy. Thought price per night was high for park appearance. Small gravel lots. Surprised that this is a Good Sam location.
