This campground is situated along the side of what seems like a mountain: with some of the best views of the Susquehanna Valley from the "Plateau" sites. Most of the sites are situated in the woods and are very spacious in size. The activities were abundant with hayrides, softball games, minigolf, bingo, a church service on Sunday morning, ceramics and entertainment, just to name a few. It is a great place for children as there aren't alot of golf carts running around; although it's not the best place to ride bicycles because of the hills. The restrooms are some of the cleanest I have seen, as well as the shower facilities. The owners are very nice and they do whatever it takes to make your stay enjoyable. I would have given Starlite a ten had they had Wi-Fi available at the campsites, although I think they have it at the the office.

This was our third time camping here. It is one of our favorite campgrounds to visit because it has all one could ask for in a campground. History, amenities, beauty, and spaciousness. The staff is friendly and helpful, the campstore is adequately supplied (even in November), and there's the historical town of Harpers Ferry, just minutes away from the CG. The reason I didn't give it a 10 was the fact that it did not have cable or WiFi, other then that this CG is one of our favorite places to camp.

This campground was very quiet, although it may have been due to the fact that it wasn't too busy. The people say that it isn't too busy after Labor Day, but it starts getting busy again in the month of October for the fall Foliage. When we called to make reservations two days ahead of time we asked to be near another family member who already had reservations, and they accommodated our needs without any problem. The campground sort of sits on the side of a hill and the roads are mostly stone covered, thus I would not recommend bicycle riding. The Campground store wasn't the biggest one around, but their supplies were adequate. The sites are very wooded and spaced well apart from each other. We will deinately come back here again.
