We were made to feel very welcome here. The owner came out and personally took us to a big rig site. He also said for really big rigs (like ours) the Southern entrance was best. We felt like we were family rather than merely paying guests here as they did whatever they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The only problem is that you do need to make reservations well in advance for weekend dates, as it is a popular place.
Campground is way overpriced for what you get. Grounds are ill kept, large potholes in park roads, greenery is almost nothing but weeds. Power good, wi-fi very weak, didn't go into showers after seeing the laundry room area. Be prepared to listen to employee's loud barking dogs late into the night. Tours and fishing are obvious means to separate you from as much money as fast as possible. Certainly not a "resort" park.
