The park was very clean and easy to get through. Very wide sites, level with most being pull throughs. The blackbirds and starlings are all over the place and kind of give a "woodsy" atmosphere with all the squawking. Would recommend for an overnight stay or maybe a weekend stop over.
This park appears to be under new ownership and they are doing a great job in making this a nice park. The roads are all dirt, and unfortunately it was one of the rainiest March's that NM has seen in a while. Everywhere you looked was mud, but they were doing everything they could to make it as pleasant a stay as possible. They assisted me with backing in to the site, setup and even in maneuvering to leave. I was unable to get the site that would accommodate my rig due to the rain, so in order to get out, it took so extra maneuvering on my part. I would recommend for an overnight stay or few days if needed.
This is a nice RV Park whether you are staying for an overnight stop or for a few days. The folks that run this park are very nice. My youngest son had his 9th birthday during our stay, and he decided he wanted to have his b-day party here instead of at Gaddie's Pizza Parlor. The owners had no problem with this (since it was only us, Grandma and Grandpa and his Unlce and Aunt) and and even gave my son a "magic show" under our awning. I would HIGHLY recommend if you are coming thru Amarillo, and need a place to stay.
