They advertised cable TV and WIFI. When we got to the park they told us the WIFI might be down. We could come and sit in office if we needed to use the internet. They no longer had cable TV. When I called the office and asked about the WIFI they couldn't even tell me the name of the one that was supposed to be available at the site. When I asked them to call the provider and find out, they refused. Only the owner can call, but they would not call the owner to tell them the WiFi was down. I think they stopped offering the WIFI and Cable and did not take it off their advertisement. There is no picnic table at the sites. We had to park our car at the neighboring site, because there wasn't room at our site for our 35 foot RV and a car.
This was a great area and a nice campground. We weren't expecting anything like this. The pool is fantastic, and although the bathrooms are old, they are immaculate. There aren't any shaded sites but there are plenty of shaded areas with tables. We came for one night and stayed three. There is a lot to do in town, and there are stocked lakes at the campground where fishing is free. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
I would have given this park a 10 if they had shade. It's a great stop with friendly people and a great pool. Whoever did the decorating has an artistic touch. This rate was with PA, and I would definitely come back.
This is okay for a one night stop, but the facilities are old and don't even have latches on the stall doors. 50 Amps, TV, and internet are all extra. They put us next to a permanent resident, and it was really a narrow site.
This is a basic high desert RV park run by friendly onsite owners. Everything was clean and worked properly with a nice laundry. It is very convenient to The Painted Desert and The Petrified Forest. We had a great 3 day stop here and would recommend it. The rate was for PA, but they were very generous in accepting other discounts. I don't think they allow tents.
This is an older park that is kept up and clean. The pool, spa, laundry, etc... all work perfectly. It has a wonderful clubhouse decorated with items from 1940-1960. It even has a small gift store with food, ice cream, and jewelry. The people who work there are happy and helpful. What more could you ask for? We stayed 5 days and enjoyed everyone of them.
The rate we paid is for seniors. This is an excellent campground and a great place to park the rig and explore Santa Fe and the local area. Its scenery is breathtaking, and the sites are big and well equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful. There isn't a pool, but there is a big beautiful lake with a swimming area. We stayed for 2 weeks and loved it! Our favorite parks are COE.
There is a pool but something is wrong with it, so it's not available. The Hot Tub in the PPA Directory doesn't exist, and the WIFI doesn't work. The sites are so narrow there is no room to sit outside. We can't even put up our awning because it would overlap the site next to us. What's good? They have a club house and the staff is friendly. Would I recommend it? Not until they fix everything that doesn't work.
The people here are very friendly and helpful. They have a clubhouse with TV, kitchen sink, stove, book exchange, games, puzzles, restroom, and laundry. At the moment the washer and dryer was free, but he said when the machines wear out he will replace them with coin operated. This is a very pleasant place and convenient to Roswell, Ruidoso, Cloudcroft, etc. My husband doesn't like to drive the rig in mountains so this is perfect for us to park and explore by car. It's a small park so I would suggest calling first. They are also very positive about Passport America and did not give us any problem. The only thing that would make this park a 10 would be a pool because it has everything you need.
