Before Terribles purchased this place RV sites were in good condition, but difficult to get a big rig in to, even though they are pull throughs. The concrete pads are breaking up, and are bad enough to cause a problem to big rig tires, and the ground near the sites is badly rutted with just a few areas filled in with gravel. The casino, which used to have a fabulous buffet, has deteriorated to totally unacceptable. We saw a cook dumping handfulls of shredded cheese on an egg casserole using bare hands and then picking up garbage of some sort and carrying it back to the kitchen. Ugh! Had a piece of pumpkin pie the night before that was so old it crunched. After staying here about 6 times in a row, this was the last time we will visit in this place.
Good place to stay for an over nighter. Managers always friendly, and have been so for past 8 years or so. Near the "Big Texan" steakhouse if you wish to enjoy.
Absolutely great, small, RV park in the middle of Albuquerque. Place was clean and quiet. Management helpful and cooperative. A very good place to stay a few nights. Handy to historic Albuquerque, and shopping.
A bare bones campground. We normally stay here before it is officially open (On May 1)and find it a bit messy from the winter, but not too bad. It is very popular in the summer, but I cannot tell you why with a popular State Park nearby. Sites are large and very easy to back in to.
A great in town RV resort. Near action in Phoenix, Scottsdale and superstition Mtns. Prices reasonable compared to Can Am resorts. Residents happy and in generally good moods. Activities in park are more than abundant. Wi-Fi service is fabulous, but you do have to pay separately for that. This is an urban park, and should be remembered as such. Highly recommend it. We are returning next year.
Will not return again after our third visit. Huge price increase, plus new added charges $22 for garbage pickup and $11.00 for sewer. Fewer activities, and WiFi and has not been improved as they promised a year ago. Park growing seedy around the edges, and seems somehow dirty. Many fewer RV's visiting this year and many more used park models for sale. More than the economy would seem to indicate. Park model owners seem to be unhappy, and upset.
