Registering was efficient and friendly with assistance provided to back into the site. (That is very helpful here as the sites, like many campgrounds in Pigeon Forge, are slightly tight.) Facilities include two pools, playground, clean restrooms and showers and a fire pit at each site. Most sites back up to a hillside which provides a feeling of privacy. Wi-Fi reception and reliability was unsurpassed. Although it is a bit close to Veteran's Boulevard with slight traffic noise, this is also a plus because it allows you to avoid the congestion of the parkway. Learn a few secondary roads and you can get anywhere with a minimal wait. Many pads were obviously poured recently and are level, however it appears this is a work in progress as there are some unlevel pads on the backside of the park. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Restrooms were clean although a bit dated. Entire campground was tidy. Perhaps the best part is that campsites were spacious and many right next to the lake. Views were incredible. Bring a kayak or canoe and enjoy paddling around the inlet. Also, there were a couple of really neat restaurants in the area. There was no sewer hook-up. Additionally, there weren't organized activities for children or teenagers (at least in the spring). I'm told Wi-Fi is available in the summer but it wasn't turned on in the spring. This was a negative for someone who unfortunately needs to check into the office online. Overall, the scenery is so wonderful that all other deficiencies melt away. I'd recommend it to others and would camp here again.

Clean and well-maintained. Wi-fi worked well. Campground was quiet and a pleasant place to relax between activities in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. The campground itself did not appear to have many activites for children or teenagers (other than the pool) but with the strip just over the hill and trolley stop across the street, it wasn't really needed. The only negative is that the park isn't shaded; however, you can get some partial shade if you get a spot by the creek. I plan on going back soon.
