About 500 to 1000 feet above Colorado Springs and Fort Carson gives a great view of the area. Hiking/biking trails of mixed difficulties and very well maintained. One of the nicest state parks we been to.

Very friendly and helpful office staff and clean park. The only drawback was absolutely no shade. We left early to find shade in another park

Third time here. Clean laundry and park. Lots of easy back-ins; some by the river are a little more crowded. Great hiking trail along river into town/high school area. Owner takes much pride in taking care of the park. Music some weekends in the summer.
