Very nice COE campground. The sites are huge and in good shape. The grounds are very well maintained. Nice grass and huge mature trees. We had a lakefront site and it was very nice. All sites were back in. Very quiet area. The only negative was finding the place. We arrived after dark and there were no signs from the main road to direct you to this place at all. Once you find it, it is worth it though. Nice swimming beach area, boat ramps, extra parking for boat trailers. We had an electric only site and it was great for a weekend.
We stayed here as an overnighter both ways on our trip. Got the same site both times. The park has a decent store and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the staff better than the park though. There is a pool but it was not open and looked bad. The WiFi did not work at all. The bathroom was in poor condition with out of order toilets. The sites were typical size and were level. The hookups were ok and the cable worked. There was a lot of traffic noise and a train horn every 3 minutes or so it seemed. Ok for an overnight if the location is convenient to you.
This was our first trip to the Moab area and we stayed here for 11 days. The park was great. The view is spectacular in practically every direction. The park is about 5 miles south of town but not at all inconvenient. it is down hill and away from the highway a little so traffic noise was not bad at all. All the facilities were in good working order. Nice pool. Well stocked store. Friendly helpful staff. There were trees between the sites that helped with shade, but made it tight for our awning. The sites were typical size of any commercial campground. Gravel pad was very level and we didn't need to block up at all. We had plenty of time to explore the area and we would stay here over any of the other choices we saw. Most others were right on the highway and looked more like a parking lot. We would definitely stay here again. The WiFi worked good, and the cable was good. Nothing bad to say about this place.
