This is a very nice park. The sites are concrete and level with the park being terraced on a hillside. Although the sites are nice and wide (30'), posts placed on the exit end of the pull through sites can cause problems turning a big rig onto the main drive. This place is spotless and conveniently located near shopping and food establishments. The indoor heated pool was great! Will stay here again.
Stayed here for several days while visiting relatives in the area. This park is clean with concrete pads and good hookups. Sites were a bit close to each other, but since we were gone most of each day it did not affect us. Overall we found it quiet and comfortable. Exiting the park onto Hwy 99W can be tricky as the highway curves just prior to reaching the exit blocking visibility of on coming traffic and you can only go south.
The price reflects an $8.00 internet reservation charge. What a lovely little park! Although there were no pull-through sites, I had little trouble backing in my 35' fiver. The park is in a wooded area and is absolutely gorgeous! Close proximity to the highway meant some noise but not at all bad. As a bonus, old time fiddlers were playing in the common areas and demos and exhibits of candle making, taxidermy, carving and other crafts were on display. Certainly will try to stay here again!
This is one of the very best RV parks I have seen. The sites are level, concrete, with beautiful grass between sites. The hookups were perfectly located and the staff escorted us to our site. Our grandchildren loved the modern, well kept playground. The only thing that I can think of as being a minus for this park is the lack of a pool. Will definitely stay here again.
This is a bare bones RV park far from any real city. There is no shade, but the hookups are good, the price is great and the staff was exceptional. It sits far enough off the highway that noise was not a problem. The park is adjacent to the Sky City Casino and is operated by the hotel there. There is also a large truck stop with fast food outlets just outside the park. We did not partake in the casino, as we have young children with us. We would definitely stay here again, and next time, get to do more for entertainment.
This park is conveniently located off I-27. Since it was hot, the AC was running so did not notice much noise from the highway. This park has seen its better days. The pool was out of service while we were here, and the "Adventure Playground" consisted of equipment that is worn out and splinter inducing, surrounded by a failing picket fence. The folks here were friendly, and there were a good number of long termers. It was okay for an overnight stay, but I might be looking into other choices when in Lubbock again.
This was an overnight stop for us on a cross country trip. The park was peaceful and quiet, with only a few campers. The sites a gravel and grass and exceptionally clean. Hookups were good. The staff was helpful and friendly and enjoyed sitting in rockers on the front porch of the small quaint store. Although I felt the rate was a little high for the facility, we would definitely stay here again if in the area. It is by far the best choice.
