The setting was nice but keep in mind that only the seasonal sites get sewer hookups. The dump station is on a one way street, on the wrong side, so we couldn't dump. We might stay there again if we could get a site on the river front.
Yuk! We requested (and paid) for a waterfront site. We were put in an area overlooking the "Ecological Study Area". It was filled with every kind of trash you can think of. Our site was so small that when I sat down on the picnic table, I banged my head on our neighbor's slide out. Never again. I hear that there is an RV park in Chula Vista that is much, much nicer.
We arrived here without reservations and were lucky enough to get a water view site for three nights. We could walk across the street and sit on the beach. It was a beautiful setting, the staff was very friendly and we have already made reservations to return again next year.
We were so happy to have found Sundance RV Campground! The setting was so peaceful, surrounded by mountains. Owner was so nice and even came to our site on New Year's Eve for a little New Year's Eve celebration. We had a great time!
