This park is a find. The reason why people buy RV's is because of parks like this. The people and staff were friendly. They guide you to your site. Yes, the drives are gravel and can get dusty, but who cares? The views of the Mississippi River are incredible and it's always fun to watch the barges go by. There is nothing fancy about this park but the views are great, everything is clean and all the people are good. Anytime I come this way I will make it a point to stay at this park.
Good park for what it's worth. Anymore you can't beat $30.00 for the night, for full hook ups. Stayed here just passing through. Right off the highway and convenient to get to. Looks like there are long term rigs here. Everyone is friendly and the staff was helpful. Stayed for one night and was able to check out the National Memorial downtown and take in a Redhawks game. Not a resort, but a good place to spend the night.
Tight, tight, tight! Booked for two nights, but only stayed for one. They pack them in at Wells Fargo! The Management was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. Not much to do for children at the park. Location is key. Very convenient to Tombstone, as everything is in a (short) walking distance. Managed to get in all the sights and even a trip down to Bisbee, AZ (must see if your already in the area) in one day, so we left a night early. Good park if you are here just to see the sights, but wouldn't want to be here for an extended stay.
Good campground for an overnight. Came in on a Sunday and the Office was closed (Sundays). Self checked in and one of the work campers, who was off on that day, assisted. Work camper was extremely helpful and friendly, even though it was his day off. Must visit White Sands National Monument. Good overall experience. Not too much to do for children.
Stayed two separate nights on the same trip (going to/coming back). Staff is friendly and park is clean. It had everything we needed to hook up, sleep, shower and take off the next morning. No complaints. Have stayed here in the past and will stay here in the future.
Our family stayed here over Spring Break. I would say this was about half families and half retired visitors. Did not have any problems with college partying or loud music. As a matter of fact we did not see any college kids "whooping it up." Great beach sites and friendly staff. You should bring down some wax for your RV because there is a service where they will come to wash and wax your vehicle for only $1.50 a foot and do a great job. Everyone was friendly and felt very safe. Make every attempt to get a beach front spot, if not, no big deal because the beach is right there. There is a big reef right in front of the park (hence "the reef") and it is great for the kids to go exploring for hours when the tide is out. This was our first time down in an RV, we usually rent a house. We will be back in an RV.
Very nice and clean campground. Friendly staff and very helpful. Only stayed one night, because we were passing through, but very satisfied with the accommodations. Appeared that most visitors were 55+, but everyone was nice and helpful and the kids had a great time at the pool (which we were informed by staff that the pool was kept at 91 degrees during the winter). We would stay here again and happy with the arrangements.
