One of the prettiest parks we have ever camped in. Full hookup level sites are wide and long. All sites have fire rings: holes dug into the ground surrounded by landscape bricks. Views are wonderful. Campground is located between two sets of mountains. Has a nice pool and lots of green space. Price reflects 4th of July pricing. We will be returning with our camping group later in the year.
We were given a pull through site near the office. Site was narrow. We were between a pole and a tree.We barely had enough room to put out slides and the awning. We could not sit outside at our site - too close to neighboring site's sewer hook up. Many empty larger sites but they were not offered to us. Very costly campground more for its location than for the camping value. Will not camp here again and will not recommend this campground to members of our camping group
This campground had sites both on the ocean side and sound side. We camped on the ocean side but closer to the road than the ocean. The ocean was just a short walk. The sites further from the ocean were grassier. Sites closer to the ocean were very sandy. All sites full hookups on concrete pads. The addition of two pools and the hot tubs were nice alternatives to the ocean. The water at the site was salty as noted in other reviews. Knowing this we bought bottled water with us for drinking. We would camp here again.
A good campground for overnight. Located close to the interstate highway but the noise was not a problem. Need to follow KOA signs and not GPS directions when you get off the interstate. Would camp here again if travelling through the area. Rates paid was with a KOA card.
