We camped here the end of April. It is an older park and has fairly new owners. They are fixing it up and it is well kept. There is a drought in NM, so don't expect a lot of green. There are quite a few trees in the park. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They cook breakfast and dinner if you wish to eat there. It is very good. We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed here one night. We've stayed in one other park in this area and the KOA is much nicer.

This park is okay for one night. Sites are gravel and difficult to park in because of where the water, sewer and electric are located with regards to the slides. The sites are pull through. The park is run down and not well kept. Managers are not on site. Dog friendly.

This is an excellent park. Paved sites and roads. Sites aren't wooded, but it is wooded all around the outside of where RV's are parked. It is easy to get in and out, and all the sites are pull-throughs. It is well kept and clean. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed 3 nights. It has a large dog park.

This was a motorhome park being converted to an RV park. When it is all completed it will be very nice. The managers are very friendly and helpful. It is dog friendly. Most sites now are not pull-thru but they are making pull-thru sites in one area. Level sites. There was a lot of motorcycle noise on the one road next to the park about 4-5 pm. It wasn't noisy later on. It is difficult to find and signs would help. We were there one night and would stay there again.

Nicely maintained and clean park. Dog run is very nice. Staff was friendly. We had the ribs at the guest BBQ area and they were very good. Overall a very nice park. We have stayed in many KOA parks and they are always very nice. Our only complaint is they are high priced. We would stay here again.

Great park. The owner was very nice. Some sites are gravel and some are cement. Ours is gravel but level. Many sites are shaded. Clean park with picnic tables, picnic area, and dog run. There is a barbeque restaurant which is very good. It is close to Cheyenne and is not on a busy road so not much traffic noise. We are still here and have been very pleased. Rates are reasonable and the 7th night is free.

We read the review from March 2012 and decided to stay here. It is far from stores, etc. It is very barren and not shady. We didn't see any wildlife. It is a very basic campground; no water in the pool. If there was absolutely no other place to stay then stay here but otherwise we wouldn't recommend it. The owners are making improvements and are very nice. If all the improvements are completed it would probably be acceptable, but only for one night.

Ordinary park. Basic gravel road with picnic tables. All sites are on gravel. Park does have satellite TV. We would stay there again for an over night visit.

Very lovely park in a country setting. All paved roads with paved pads. Many people appear to stay there full time. It is a well kept park, with nice landscaping, a wonderful laundry recreation area, and bathrooms and showers. The office is about a mile from the park. We called ahead and the space was available when we arrived. It would probably be best to reserve ahead of a stay in the summer. We would stay there again.

This is an okay park. We called ahead and were told there were sights available, but when we go there it was full, The staff rechecked and had double booked so we got a place. It's all gravel and sights are very close together. Park seemed to have many RVs that were there for an extended time. We spent two nights but did go into Wichita for one day. Not much to do at the park. We would stay there again for over night only.

Nice park. Staff was friendly. No overall complaints. Shaded spots. Gravel sites that need leveling for a 5th wheel. We would stay there again.

Very well kept RV park. All pull through sites with cement drives and sites with patio. Not a lot of amenities but very neat and has a gated entry. Probably better for families with no children but does have a pool. We stayed 2 nights. We would go back again.

We enjoyed staying in this park. It is very clean, friendly staff, beautiful grounds with 2 small lakes and a swimming sandy beach. It is in town but seems like the country, close to restaurants, and shopping, churches. We stayed for a week. No cable or satellite TV if that is important. Some local TV reception. We would definitely stay here again.

Travelers Rest Resort is a lovely place to stay. It is like a mini-town with many amenities. The only drawback is the area where the sites are located. It is like a large field, with no trees and the site slopes. The sites are large with hook-ups. We plan to stay there again when we visit that area of Florida. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Fernbrook RV Park is a very nice, new park. Sites are large with grass and sites are paved. All roads are paved. There is some shade sites on the outside section of park. Friendly staff. We would stay here again.
