My wife and I enjoyed this campground. Not to many spaces but very reasonable prices for full hook-ups. The host were very friendly and helpful for whatever we needed. This is a very small town not a lot of places to eat dinner meals. We would camp here again when we pass through.
Not a lot of shade in the campground, but it is a new campground. The camp host was very helpful and nice and guided to our spot. We came in with two flat tires and he was was very helpful in finding a tire shop to help fix our flats. We would come back.
I should have read the previous reviews before take the railroad track entrance. I have ripped out my stabilizer jacks. Do make sure you take the Honeycutt road entrance, through the horse stable entrance to the park. Lesson learned. Earlier my wife called to make sure they had room for us for our 36 ft fifth wheel, they said yes. After getting there and ripping off the stabilizer the individual who my wife talked to said they forgot to tell my wife to take the horse stable entrance, a lttle late for that. Other wise the campground was OK.
The campground host and workers are very nice and helpful. They showed us to our site and helped me back in. They take very good care of this campground nice and clean sites. This was the nicest KOA my wife and I stayed in. If you are needing diesel there is only one gas station in Gettysburg and that is the Exxon station in town otherwise you will have to leave town to get diesel. We would stay here again.
This campground was very crowded. The sites are very close together and difficult to back into especially if you have a large fifth wheel (36ft). Some of the sites are not level. Getting to the campground you have to drive through a residential area which have very narrow roads, the road is so narrow that two RVs can not pass by each other without one moving to the side to let the other to pass by.
This was a nice campground. The hosts were very nice and courteous especially when we arrived late that evening. They showed us to our spot and since the site they put us in the hook-ups were in the wrong side of the fifth wheel. They were nice enough to offer to get us longer sewer and water hoses if we needed, but we were leaving early in the morning, so it didn't matter. We would camp here again.
