We stopped here overnight on our way to Huntsville for our daughters wedding. Most sites appear to be pull through and was laid out in a reasonable manner. Across the street from Lake Chicot with a wonderful view of the lake. Not much to do here but very nice just as a stop over or a weekend getaway. Has some long term tenants but was not a problem and they keep their sites in good order. Would stop here again if in the area. Price reflects Good Sam rate. Very peaceful here.
We camped here while attending our daughter's wedding and were very impressed by the improvements that have been made. This is a very clean family type campground that does not cater to the loud party crowd. It has a pool with water slide that is open seasonally, and also hiking trails, fishing, etc. While it can accommodate large rigs please remember it is a campground and not an RV park so there is no cable or Wi-Fi. Price listed reflects off season rate. Also water system is winterized and limited this time of year so I suggest you fill your fresh water tank, and cell service is spotty here. We stayed a week and had no problems with this.
Very friendly family oriented campground. Lots of activities for kids and adults. Owners are friendly, keep their park clean and makes everyone feel welcome. We have camped here many times in the past and will continue camping here in the future. Great for overnight, weekend or a week.
This park appears to be filled mainly with permanent tenants. Sites are crowded and close. Park is next to Interstate 20, so lots of road noise at night. Grass needs to be cut. Pool is clean and so are restrooms. It's ok for an overnight stop but not really set up for camping.
Very clean State park near Eureka Springs. Friendly and courtious employees. Pool, waterslides and more. Something for everyone. Nestled in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. Quite and peaceful with a mountain view.
Very inviting place to stay. Friendly and helpful employees. Restrooms and showers are very clean. Close to downtown Natchez and many historical sites. Campsites are clearly marked, and clean. Peaceful atmosphere always with a wonderful view of the Mississippi river. This park gets an A+ in my book. I will be a return visitor and I recommend this park to anyone whether staying for a night or for a week.
The sites are poorly marked. Outdated electrical hookups that need serious attention. Loud noise from other campers allowed all night, apparently no quiet hours enforced. Restrooms and bath houses are unclean. The campground does have some family oriented activities which could make this an attractive place if management would only sink some money back into the place. Unless noticable changes are made I cannot recommend this campground to anyone.
