This is absolutely the most beautiful RV park that I have ever visited. This is my second time here, and I am considering buying a lot in order to spend more time. There is gorgeous mature landscaping (with original large trees), a beautiful clubhouse, a good gym, immaculate laundry, a lovely pool and nice staff. Combine that with a short bike ride to the beach and walking distance to Publix, Walgreen's, a veterinary clinic and restaurants, what could be better? This park deserves the high ratings it gets without doubt.
The sites have nice grassy areas between them and there are shade trees if desired. Gravel sites but level. Staff very friendly. Right next door there is a terrific little diner named "Penny's Diner" which has good, cheap food and is open 24 hours. The laundry room was clean and reasonably priced. Only drawback is the noise from Interstate 80. We would definitely stay here again.
Front staff very nice. Plenty of pull-through sites, but they are gravel and not level. Laundry room was clean and reasonably priced. Beautiful old lodge on site, which was due to open for Memorial Day weekend (a few days after we left). Right outside entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park and yet close (by car) to downtown Estes Park, a charming small upscale town. The views of the mountains and surrounding hills are absolutely stunning. Elk roam the campground in the early morning. We would definitely stay here again.
The sites are huge with a nice green space in between sites. Laundry is immaculate, and the views of the surrounding country are lovely. The staff members are very friendly. The WiFi works quickly (a relative rarity at RV parks). Only downside is that there is no cable TV. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Zion N.P. The sites that are pull-throughs go in opposite directions; i.e., if you have two rigs you will not be facing the same direction if you are next to each other. Staff was friendly but very busy when we checked in. Clean laundry rooms (not cheap--$2.00 for a wash and the same for a dry). VERY close to the park's entrance, which was a big plus given the free shuttle. We would stay here again. Across the street is a terrific restaurant--Spotted Dog Cafe; also has fish and pasta dishes.
This park was an unexpected surprise in a very positive way. Nice, level, pull-through sites. Nice landscaping, including a gazebo and a very large covered outdoor "band room." Beautiful pool and playground for children. Very, very nice staff and a nice store with some food items, RV items, antiques and crafts. There is just a little bit of noise from a nearby highway, but nothing offensive. We would definitely stay here again!
This campground is just north of Louisville, KY by a few miles. The sites are paved and level, but there are only a few patches of grass. There is a little highway noise, but a few times a day a loud freight train goes immediately by the site. There is loud truck noise next door in the morning hours. The staff is friendly, the store has food items and things for the rig (and is open until 10:00 P.M.), and the laundry room is clean and reasonably priced. For a close-in location, it is--all in all--fine. We would stay here again if we were on the road trying to save time, as we were on this trip.
This is the nicest park in Cedar Key, although it is 6 miles from town. Cab cost $20 (before tip) to town. (The only cabdriver in town is a delight: a referral from the park.) It is clean and quiet. Not many sites were occupied. They had not sprayed for fire ants when I was here; so there were many ant hills. It has big back-in sites with lots of room. The staff is friendly. There is no security at night. I would stay here again.
