We stayed here due the fact that we had "free camping" but it was far from free, especially when you have to endure the 3 hour sales pitch for the "time share" TRof A people. Our sales person, was very nice, low pressure, and did a good job in trying to sell us, but we said no. I cannot justify paying 7k for a less than average campground membership. The only good thing I can say is the bathhouse are very nice, with private shower rooms. The drain field was failing, thus you had a strong sewer smell in the air. Pet walk area was across the campground due the fact the drain field was going bad. Promises of paving and new sewer were made, but when we asked the maintenance personnel, they said what, we haven't heard that one! Site are not level and ground was very spongy. We did get 3 nights of free camping for our time share presentation, but we may try the other campground in NC.
Saw the campground by using Google Earth, looked nice, so we called, and we are so glad we did! The owners are very friendly and accommodating, even when asking for an extra nights stay when booked. Water, sewer, and electricity all worked fine, except the water cut off one night due to a problem, but it was fixed by the next morning! Very clean bathrooms and showers, nice laundry facility on site, level and easy pull-thru sites and lower part of campground, upper side, back in sites just as nice. Had no problem with placing our 35' fifth wheel camper on lot. Quite area, plenty to see and do if not looking for the "commercial camping" experience.
