Excellent Campground! Sites are grassy and very wide. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. The campground is beautifully maintained. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in maintaining the campground. They live on site and have owned this place for 19 years and they do it right! The laundry facilities were excellent. When checking in the owners guide you to your site. Our DirecTV satellite reception was good and our Verizon air card and ATT cell phones worked fine. We have been RVing for the past 10 years and this is one of the finest campgrounds we have ever stayed at! Definitely would stay here again if in the area.
RV's are squeezed into every square inch of this campground. Campsites are so close together that there is about 3 feet between my neighbor's slide out and my slide out. Sites are gravel with a little strip of grass between them. Our AT&T cell phones worked well and so did our Verizon air card. Definitely won't be staying here again!
Campground consists of grassy day use sites on the water, grassy tent sites in the next row back from the river, and gravel RV sites behind the tent sites. The best thing about the campground is the view of the river and the waterfalls across the river. We stayed a week and found that Monday and Tuesday were the days that had the least amount of people using the day use area. The rest of the week the tent area and day use areas are packed. Each site had a fire ring and picnic table. Our AT&T cell phone did not work and our Verizon air card worked sometimes. If we were in the area again we might stay here.
Excellent campground! Large level gravel site long enough to leave our tow vehicle hooked up. Lots of grass between sites. Each site has a picnic table and BBQ grill. Very quiet at night. We were only going to stay 2 nights but ended up staying 4 nights. The Wi-Fi worked well! Our AT&T cell phones had a strong signal and our Verizon air card worked well. Rate also includes a free breakfast of eggs and pancakes at the campgrounds cafe. They have an excellent dinner menu also. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here if in the area again.
Large dirt field with hookups. We had a extra wide site but most sites are very close together. Staff was nice. No grass and no shade! While we were staying here a number of large motor homes including a semi pulled in pulling car trailers. They parked the car trailers in front of other motor homes blocking their view. Looks like the staff should have had them park the trailers in the storage area of the RV park. The park is close to the entrance to Grand Canyon National Park. We stayed here because we were unable to get reservations inside the national park. Would stay here again only as a last resort. We camped in a motor home.
Site had a gravel driveway, picnic table and grass. Lots of shade trees which is very important when the temps reach 100 degrees. Strong Wifi signal at site. Staff was friendly and escorted you to your site. Only negative was the construction next store which created a lot of noise and dust in the campground We camped here in a motor home and would stay here if in the Moab area again.
Sites are a little close together. Our site had a gravel driveway, picnic table and grassy area. Campground is pet friendly with lots of grassy areas to walk in. Strong wifi signal at site. Staff was very friendly. Overall a nice campground! We camped here for a week in our motor home and would stay here again if in the Provo Area. Rate reflects Good Sam discount.
Quiet Campground. Office staff were very nice. We were on a water view site which had an OK view of Lake Michigan. Could not see the Mackinac Bridge from our site. Site was gravel with a lot of weeds growing through the gravel. Looked like the grass had not been cut in quite a while. Site was fairly level but a tree blocked our satellite dish reception. Sites are real close together. My awning almost touched my neighbors slide out. Our AT&T Cellphones and Verizon Wireless card worked well. Would stay here again if in the area.
This is a nice quiet city park. The lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful. We stayed on site #19 which was a water and electric site on the river. We had to pull into the site so that the water and electric hookups were on the correct side of the RV. Site was shady, fairly level, with a picnic table, fire ring and plenty of grass. Campground has a number of occupied seasonal sites located off the river. If you are into fishing this would be a nice campground to stay at. Not much else to do in the town of Au Gres because most of the shops have closed up. Our Verizon air card and ATT cell phones worked fine here If we ever pass through the area again we would stay here.
Campground has lots of activities for children. Stayed on a 50 amp pull through site which had a concrete driveway, grassy site with picnic table and fire ring. Nice family campground. One downside was a lot of train noise in the rear of the campground.
Campground is in a nice quiet country setting away from the hustle and bustle. It is a nice quiet no frills campground. Office staff was extremely polite and helpful when checking us in. We stayed 3 nights on a full hookup 50 amp pull through site which was 100 feet long. Site was level with a gravel driveway, nice grassy area, picnic table and fire ring. If in the area again we would definitely stay here again.
