What a great experience. We booked for 2 nights and came back and extended it, first 2 nights more and then 2 nights more, I hated to leave. The site was on a concrete slap with grass bordering it, like a lawn, big mature trees around everywhere, beautiful. The Camp is Family owned and everyone works and lives there, mother, sons, daughters, uncle etc. one can see all the effort they put into it. Although we where told the WIFI would not work so far away, it worked like a charm, as did everything else. Absolutely no complaints. It is clean with flowers, the pool is great, has minigolf, fishing, areas for kids to play and is very quiet with lots of birds to make it a happy place. We glady would come back here.
This park is spotless. Cement slab, very level, bordered in gravel, grass and flowers, with trees in between sites, a fire ring, all in all very pleasant. The pool is beautiful and clean, big for the size of the park. Although we do not use the Bath House I went in to see it, and it is spotless. The owners are very nice and helpful, she wrote a 3 page brochure on things to do in the area, which we used extensively. Also gave us great advise where to eat, shop for groceries etc. There is not a cigarette butt, candy wrapper or bottle cap in sight I cannot get over how clean this campground is. Although is is located on a busy street the hedge inbetween the campground and the street makes it all muted, and at night there is hardly any traffic, therefor we where not disturbed. Overall a very pleasant experience to stay here and we will gladly stay here again and again.
This is the worst campgroung we ever stayed in. We where booked for 3 night but left early due to its condition. The camp is mostly occupied by long term residents, one can see it by all the junk they have accumulated and stored outdoors. There where 4 sites for travelling coaches like us. The first site, right next door where we wound up, was littered in broken glass, my dog could not have left the coach. We called and where told to move to next door, it was not much better. Between the cigarette butts, candy wrappers and bottle caps it was awful. The site was very narrow, we could not have put chairs outside, the picnic table was on a slope, but we could not use it anyhow, the boards on it where so bent it was useless. We had no cable TV and someone came and strung a cable from across the street to our Motorhome. No 50 amps was available. The site was very narrow. To go to the Marina one had to walk down a very steep hill, quiet a long way, we never made it all the way down. All in all, very dirty and as I said we left before we had paid to leave. We will never go back there again.
