Lovely shaded park with friendly owners and hosts. Clean bathrooms (heated) and laundry room. Easily located off the highway but quiet. Good location for visiting Jacksonville, FL and the Georgian Islands. Stayed 3 days and would consider coming again.
This previously owned fish-camp has friendly owners who escort you to your site, most with a pretty view of the lake. Camp has long-term as well as over nighters. We found this campground OK, but were disappointed with only one mens room and one ladies room (with one shower each), which had no heat, and difficult to lock the shed-like outside door. They use a spongy mat inside the shower. Don't think big rigs could make it into the park, as the narrow driveways slope down to the lake and some campers are packed in back to back. Few pull through sites. I think the owners want to keep it small for their regulars and we would recommend this place to owners of small rigs.
Nice Good Sam Park. Friendly staff, clean park and easy access off highway. Restrooms clean, organized well and heated. We only spent one night here but would consider staying again even for a few days.
Either someone is not doing their job or someone doesn't care about this place. Restrooms not clean -- especially the men's room, look unfinished, and no room for privacy in the shower -- they open directly to the hallway which can be seen when someone opens the outside door. Campground has long-term sites that are cluttered with stuff and sad looking trailers. Tent sites are pitiful looking, right next to a rusted outside fuel oil tank and the hosts yard full of stuff. I'd only recommend this place if you had to hook up for the night and absolutely needed to get off the road.
