This campground has it all. The pool, hot tub, Tiki Bar, huge rec hall. The campground is very well planned out, streets are wide, campsites are very good size, everything is neat and well kept. We have stayed here four times in the past but each time only for one night. We definitely need to stay for a more extended time in the future. Our stay was over Thanksgiving Day so there were lots of families and children. No issues there as everyone was well behaved. Just keep an eye out for little ones on bikes and skate boards.

Very nice park connected with Camping World and the Lazydays RV dealership. Easy off/on from I-10. Very good interior roads, plenty of room to back our 39' 5th wheel in. Arrived late in the day but had time to check out the facilities. There is a screen enclosure around the pool, which looked very nice. Had a snack and a beer at 'Exit 10', their onsite diner/pub. Nicely designed to look like an RV with slideouts. Our servers were very social and friendly. There was a bags/cornhole game and a basketball shooting game in the rec center. There are a number of staff riding around in golf carts that will drive you over to Camping World...we started to walk but it was a long distance from our campsite. It was a bit tricky to find the entrance to the campground but it was probably our fault as we had stopped at the gas station to fill up and ended up by the dealership drop off station. It was easy to turn around and get back to where we needed to be. All staff were helpful and friendly. Our stay was too short to take part in the complimentary breakfast, lunch, daily seminars, or any of the many other daily activities. Very pleased with our camping experience here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again for a bit longer.

This is a nice, quiet park. We stayed here for two nights while traveling from Florida to Texas. It has easy on/off access from I-10. The interior roads are good. Our site was level and long enough to accommodate our 39' 5th wheel and truck. We did not use any of the bathroom/laundry facilities. Visited the Naval Museum in Pensacola. Staff was friendly and helpful regarding facilities, local restaurants, things to do, etc. Price reflects Good Sam discount and tax.

We stayed here for 4 months until April 10, 2011. The roads are narrow and the campsites are not huge. This campground's most enduring quality is the people it attracts for the winter season. It is a hubbub of activity, with all sorts of enrichment programs...art classes, dance lessons, tennis lessons, pool volleyball, just to name a few. It would be a shame to just stay one night and not take part in all that the park has to offer.

This campground met our needs as we were on the road heading to Florida from Texas and needed an easy overnight stay. We wanted a level, pull-thru site and we got just that. Campground was clean, well laid out and quiet. We did not use any of their facilities...restrooms, laundry, showers, or pool. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Office had lots of information about things to do and area restaurants. We departed early the next morning around 6 am.

We were on the road heading from Texas to Florida so we chose this park because of its proximity to I-10. It was relatively easy access. We stayed one night and chose a pull-through site so that we would not need to unhook. Site was level. Campground was quiet. We did not use any of the facilities, like the pool, restrooms or showers. Staff was friendly and helpful. I rated it 8 as it fitted our needs for the one night.

After a long day of driving, we stopped here for one night. It was easy and quick from I-44. Even with the proximity to the expressway, it was very quiet. The campground is under big shade trees, with long, level pull through sites. We did not have to unhook from our 5th wheel. Bath/showers were clean but could use a bit of updating. We stayed here the Thursday before Memorial Day so there were plenty of other campers enjoying all the campground had to offer. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This campground fit our needs for a one night stopover. It was fairly close to I-44, had a pull-through, level site (did not have to unhook), the casino had a bar with delicious, home-cooked food and entertainment to boot. This campground's atmosphere is nothing to write home about, after all it is on the grounds of a horse racing track and a casino, so we did not expect much in that regards. All of the sites on our row were spacious and level. Check-in is done in the casino. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The daily rate paid reflects KOA membership discount.

This is a wonderful state park. What a gem! There are hiking, biking, horseback riding trails. Our campsite had a 360 degree stunning view of the canyon. We stayed in the Sagebrush loop (closest to the entrance) in a back-in site with water and electric. Each campsite has a picnic table with a gazebo over it. The bath/shower house was immaculate. We had the pleasure of having a flock of wild turkeys grazing around with a big, old tom turkey keeping watch. We checked out the other campsite loops, they are much farther into the canyon and could require a water crossing if there is an abundance of rain. Some things you need to know: 1. the one road leading into and out of the canyon has a 10% grade and it is 1 1/2 miles in length (our diesel pulled our 14,000 lb 5th wheel up that grade in 1st gear just fine). 2. There is NO cell phone or air card service available in the canyon (Verizon is our service for both). 3. Cheeseburgers at the Trading Post fit the 'Cheeseburger in Paradise' definition perfectly for us. The daily rate does not reflect the $5 per person per day park entrance fee.

The campground is quiet and set back from Cerrillos Road. We did not hear much road noise at all. All sites are gravel with trees dotted here and there, but not offering much shade. The back in sites offer a bit more width than the pull through sites. However, the water/electric/sewer are located at the very rear of the back in sites. The staff is helpful and friendly. During the week, it is quite empty and starts filling up on Thursday for the weekend. The Santa Fe Trails bus stop is less than a block down Cerrillos. For $1.00 it will take you into the heart of Santa Fe. Wonderful, paved bike trail nearby and very pedestrian friendly area. The above rate reflects a pull through, 50 amp site at the weekly rate.

Price reflects Good Sam discount. Easy on/off from I-10 for an overnight stay. Fairly level pull-through site with grassy areas between sites. Reasonable amount of space between sites, maybe 15-20 feet. Wi-Fi signal not strong on our site and no Cable TV. Pool is having the last touches put on before filling. Staff was friendly. One of the staff came by to pick up our LP tank for refilling for $20. The Roadrunner Cafe is on site but didn't get a chance to eat there. Prices were very reasonable. Nice place for our quick, overnight stop.

Nice campground, very clean and neat, helpful staff, quiet. About 1/2 mile to Main Street in Fredericksburg, easily within walking distance but limited sidewalk availability. All sites are pull-throughs and have full hookups. There is a concrete pad with a wooden picnic table on each site. Our site was close to the sites on each side. If we would have opened our awning, it would have almost covered the next site's sewer connection. This was not a problem for us as we spent most of the time out sightseeing. One great thing: the park has a huge ice machine, like a hotel might have, and the ice is free for the taking. We really liked that feature! Did not use the bath/shower facilities but if the condition of the rest of the park is any indication, they are probably spotless. All in all, this is a great park to use as a platform for seeing all the sights of Fredericksburg and the surrounding area.

Stayed for one week so nightly rate reflects weekly rate. VIA bus into San Antonio is $1.10 with pickup directly across the street from campground. Found the bus to be safe and convenient to all the sights of San Antonio. The drivers and the passengers are most helpful to get you where you want to go. Had a back-in sight on the road side and did not find road noise to be an issue. Of course, we had our a/c on so that might affect whether we heard it or not. Didn't have any trouble hearing all the barking dogs, though. Plenty of space between sites and nice landscaping, too. Found pool, laundry, baths, office to be spotlessly clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Lovely park, would choose this park for any future visits to San Antonio.

We have stopped to overnight here many times on trips between Chicago and Florida. Park is extra clean and staff is very friendly. Most are very level pull-through slots and I never have to unhook.
