This is a lovely campground with wide, easily accessible, mostly shady sites. Very friendly staff. Free shuttle to the ferries, and they call for you. Kind of pricey washer & dryers at $2.00 EACH, but it is A TOURISTY area. Wonderful, paved, shady bike path, a mile and a half, to town. Lots to do in town...I think a must stay for the future.

This is a nice spacious RV park in the middle of Fairbanks. Its a old state park and the sites are heavily treeded between each site. There are two types of available sites: electric (some with water) ($28), and no hookups ($17). We ended up in a no hookup site. But since we plan to pull out and do things in town, thats fine. Easy in and out and thereas a dump station and fresh water available. WiFi is available and we are on line now. You can pull in about 12 TV channels on your TV antenna too!

Its a small family run RV park on the Sterling Highway Mile 127. Best view in all Alaska. Close to clamming and fishing. The owners make this park. When we arrived they greeted us with smoked salmon and a plate of ceviche!! They guided us to the best clamming and showed us, and also helped us clean clams. They rent clamming equipment at a very reasonable price. When we left, it was like leaving family. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a free campground site run by the city of Lamesa for overnight campers. Basic back in on asphalt with water and electric (30amps) (free). Nice, clean park like setting with playground across the street. Sites not to level-jacks have to do a good job! Overall you can't beat it for a FREE overnight spot. Its at Junction of JCT of Hwy 137 and S Ninth street.
