Only game in town if you want to stay close in - too bad as its not much more than a noisy overpriced and not too level parking lot. Try for a site as far back from the interstate as you can. You will sleep better. Management either cannot or will not enforce its own rules. They were allowing as what only can be described as a mobile crash pad to park. Their own published regulations prohibit anything other than fully self-contained RVs. It was housing 5 or 6 very scruffy individuals. We were awoken in the middle of the night (2am) by much loud noise coming from this group. Went on for several hours before I finally called security. Found out this was not the first incidence. We were able to move to the other side of the park fortunately. The person on duty stated he "really couldn't do anything" other than point out the rules to the campers. Would only stay here again in a pinch.

Nice enough setting but we were disappointed upon arrival at the actual RV park. Wall to wall campers, very tight fit for a 40' M/H. As with many county parks minimal supervision (never saw a ranger or host) often leads to abuse of the rules. Too many rigs per site and rowdy kids ignoring the quiet hours. Perhaps an OK stopover in the off-season for smaller rigs.

Park has 3 camping areas: premium area with level paved sites with all the amenities and nicely landscaped. The annex is further from the bay and is more or less graveled but also with full hookups. We dry camped in the big lot in front of the office and the rate we payed reflects this price. Surprisingly quiet and you can position your rig to get a view of the harbor. Walking distance the the Rogue Ale brewery: a must visit. Park is at the south end of town and just a short drive from the historic areas. For the price: a real bargain.

Real gem. Rate reflects weekly rate. Family-run park with helpful staff. Only park we found in the area without the sardine-can effect. A little road noise in a few of the sights up front but disappears in the evening. Some tight turns but we were able to negotiate our 40' rig without too much trouble.
