This is a no frills park. At first glance it looked questionable. But, after parking and going in to the office we were welcomed by the staff warmly, the site was easy access, level and just right for an overnight stay, and would be good for a few days to visit the area. The showers and restrooms were very clean and the showers were all handicap accessible. It is as stated a parking lot but it suited our needs and was easy on and off and very reasonably priced. Several nice restaurants were within walking distance, Wal-Mart and Krogers were close by. We would definitely stay here again.
We camped here overnight on our way from the Tampa area to KY. We had looked forward to staying here as they have Music Festivals frequently here, and by all reports they are great. We were very disappointed in the condition of their restrooms and showers; they were filthy. We were also told there was cable, but it didn't work at our site. The Wi-Fi was very good, and the campgrounds were shaded and lovely. The beach along the Suwanee was nice, and the rest of the campground was in good condition. We will come back again for a 2nd try for a music festival.
This is a former KOA that was purchased and is under renovation. They hold Bluegrass Music Festivals at the park. The facilities are in excellent shape. Showers, restrooms and laundry facilities are very well maintained. We would camp here again. We camped here on a PPA rate.
This is a lovely park. It's no frills, but they have every thing you need. The park staff was more than friendly. We even had a music jam on the office porch! Restrooms and showers were clean. Wi-fi was very good, and cable hook up was good. We will definitely return at another time.
