The campsites are on grass and many are not level. There are beautiful sunsets across the lake from a nice restaurant on property. There are no sewer hookups or dump area. You must pay $20 for a honey wagon to dump your tanks. There are no longer canoes to rent and the fishing in the park is very limited. The Park is not what it once was.
This is a nice park for seeing Park City and Salt Lake City. The upper motorhome section is the area where we camped. It had nice views and a paved site. The people in the office were nice and knowledgeable of the area. There is a stream that runs by the lower section that one can fish.
A nice park set in a valley surrounded by red rock mesas. This is the only park in the Monument Valley area. It is well maintained; however, some campers were having difficulty getting adequate 50 amp service. We did not have this problem. We found the Goulding Restaurant to be good and their guide service excellent.
The park is set next to the river, which makes it enjoyable. If you are heading northbound on Hwy 84 be ready for a 180 degree turn that is very tight to access the park. You must cross a bridge that has weight limits to get into the park. Also, we felt that the sites along the river were very close together. The owner was friendly and helpful.
Park has a nice layout with plenty of space between sites; however, the electricity was not working at two sites we were assigned and the sewer line backed up when flushing. The park could be very nice; however, deferred maintenance has made it unattractive.
The park is not as nice as many COE parks we have stayed; however, it did provide us a beautiful place to camp. The campsites are electric only; however, fresh water is available in several locations and there is a dump.
A beautiful State Park set on the shores of Toledo Bend Lake. The campsites are wooded with many offering views of the lake. The park also provides free wifi and free washers and dryers. The visitor center is very nice and the paved trail system is good. Some negatives is that the trash containers are not in the camp area, but near the entrance requiring a long walk to dump trash. Also, many of the campsites are not level.
This is a nice snowbird park with mostly park models. The section for overnighters is small; however the spaces were adequate. The price was quite high for an overnight stay and we will probably look elsewhere in the future.
The advantages of this park are its safety, ability to walk to Sam's Town casino, free bus shuttle to strip and downtown, and good laundry. The disadvantages are very small sites and poor but adequate sewer hookups.
We stayed at this park for 3 weeks while seeing Bay area. It is the only RV park in this general area. The spaces are small and either gravel or grass. There is a nice area to walk and the park security is good.
Very well kept campground with very good privacy. There are numerous pull throughs to make parking your RV easy. The drive to the campground is on Skyline Drive and is very scenic. With the Appalachian Trail next to the park, there is plenty of hiking opportunities.
This is a beautiful campground. We were concerned about satellite reception at our first site, so the staff upgraded us to a premium site without additional charges. They have a nice laundry. The campground is a wonderful location to see RI and CT.
We found the park to be a nice campground to visit the greater Boston area. It is convenient to the train stop and has easy access to the highway system. The campground itself could do with some upgrades, but it was adequate. The owners and staff were very helpful, including changing the oil in our motor home for a reasonable fee.
This is a beautiful park; however, most of the sites require some effort to get level. The park is part of a golf course and the mansion that Steven Foster wrote My Old Kentucky Home state song of Kentucky.
This park is in a wonderful location; however, it is in need of some improvements. It does provide a trout fishing lake and Red River runs through the park. We were able to get a secluded site along the river making our stay wonderful.
