This park is only suitable for smaller units unless you want to pay hundreds of dollars for the "super sites." Although we realize that this is a "destination" park, management really needs to do a better job of determining if it can handle longer, wider RVs. We have a 40' 5th wheel with 4 slide-outs, which left virtually no room in the site to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful CA weather. Add that to the fact that our site was 100% dirt, no concrete, and we paid nearly $100 per night, and we were pretty disappointed. With no kids and just being in CA to visit family, we wouldn't stay at Newport Dunes again.
Really dreadful RV park but it does have a great restaurant. It is very poorly maintained with weeds everywhere and broken concrete at the sites. There are lots of long-term sites which were obvious by the amount of stuff on them and the lack of maintenance. We really enjoyed dinner at the steakhouse, but if stopping in Flagstaff in the future, will stay at a different park & drive to the the restaurant.
