We stayed here twice in the last 2 weeks, both in the older section and also in the newer sites. Both were quite good, very little shade in the newer, but clean level gravel sites. Good Wi-Fi around the park. Lots of "live aboards" but kept very clean. Nice pool, easy check in. We stayed here in our new 40' bus for her shake down- twice now. Will stay here again.
All 18 sites now have 50amp. It's parking lot camping. Wi-Fi is still weak. Lots of big rigs. Plenty of TV without cable. The lodge is friendly. Soon they will have advance reservations, but at this time you have to call same day to get a space. Its close to freeways, but quiet at night. The location is outstanding (close to cool places) and thats why I rated it a 7. We stayed 3 nights in our new 40' bus, and it was full every night.
If you're an Elk, you gotta stay here! Very nice park/lodge. Kinda out of town, bit it has it all! Level sites on asphalt, strong 50 amp & killer wifi, too many cable channels. Feels good to be here. Nice pool- get a gate key & walk along the Sac river to the Sundial bridge & beyond- Very nice! Were coming back!
Nice park you would never know its there. VERY close to downtown Sac- but far away. Check in is OK- Ft counter folks are kinda happy your there. Lots of shade/ weak wifi, but we have stayed here a few times, and keep coming back- Lots of shopping/food within a few miles. Old Sac, 10 min away. We will keep coming back. Fun to watch all the boat traffic on the river.
This is still one of our top 5 in the country! Everything is clean and landscaped. Great check in, a bit slow, but they were super busy. Sites are level and large. Can't say enough good stuff about this park!
Great spot for a night - We had a pull through and it came with 50 amp! Gravel sites that all looked pretty level. Our cable was quite snowy, but we picked up 2 channels on the rabbit ears! Restrooms were spotless! We got very little noise from the truck stop and its easy in and out. We would stay here again while doing the 5.
Very clean nice park. Would be "nice" to have sewer & cable, but the view trumps the problem. You can't go wrong with the river out your door. Very secure, kind of level sites- bring extension cords so you can nose in for the best view. Very nice on check in. Stay a few days and save money. Would stay here again.
It could be so much more. The WiFi never connected to iPad or laptop. No TV, AT&T cell service sometimes. Level gravel sites. 30amp where we were at. Nice folks at the front desk, refunded a night we couldn't stay with no hassle. Restrooms were super clean. For the area it works well as a "home port".
We missed a full hookup site by 5 minutes, but we dry camped right next to the beach. Nice & level. Noises from traffic from the power plant but it's worth it. Upper level site are $50 a night but have hook ups, just a bit of a walk to the beaches. Great spot, just gotta be lucky to get a site. We will be back
Easy fun check in. Nice long pull through for the night. Clean park, nice sites. Wi-Fi is slow, but great 4G service. Nice dog runs. We're coming back in Aug. with our club & look forward to 3 days. Would stay here again when doing the 101 anytime.
Smallish sites for a big price. Nice park, clean, well kept. Not too big rig friendly . We had to take the toad off to keep on our site. The park has everything you need. Wasn't too full when we stayed; looks like it has too many sites. I only saw 3 showers (super clean) for LOTS OF CAMPERS. Lots of Wi-Fi, but we kept getting bumped off.
Check in was a hassle. Computer problems. We booked 2 sites next to each other. We get there, but four sites away. Not a good start. Escort to our premier "grass site" was very nice. But most of the grass was dead. Nice level site, very clean park, despite only one trash bin for the whole park! Pools and rest rooms were super clean! Wi-Fi was weak & they have no cable. Don't think we will do this one again.
It's been a couple of year since we stayed here. Seems to be a lot more long term folks, but the place has been very well kept! Very nice check in & club house. Trash is picked up daily at your site. Salt pool was warm. WiFi rocked. They let us have our rig washed at our site by a vendor they have used. We will be back.
There are 3 areas to stay in. We were with a club, we were close to the clubhouse and pool, and the freeway. Fair amount of road noise. Very limited 50amp and it was hot, only 1 AC works with 30 amp, so a hot weekend. Sites are paved (our area) level but very skinny. WiFi was slow found AT&T 3G faster. No stores around. So bring it with you. OK for an overnighter.
Real nice park. Our shady site was waiting for us with a welcome pack & pen. Big pull threw site. Good power, very nice shady/grass area in the middle. A number of liveaboards, but very well kept. Very quiet park, a few miles off the hi way but a lot better then the parks closer. We will overnight it here again sometime.
We came with a group, great meeting room/BBQ area. Mostly gravel sites with strong Wi-Fi where we were at. Pool felt great & was spotless. Nice dog run area in the back of the park. Had a reservation issue, but Staff took care of it & we will stay here again. It's out of town, but close to everything (with a toad).
On par with most parks in Quartzsite. We had a nice gravel pull through for the nite. Restrooms are old but well maintained. Car wash & oil change pit on site- nice. Wi-Fi was free & ours rocked. We would stay here over nite again some time.
Our 2nd time here, it's nice but costs a lot. The sites are very skinny, WiFi was just fair, cable didn't work at our site or the one next door. Sites are kind of level- my rear tires were off the ground. ATT cell hardly worked. The food is way expensive, we didn't go this trip (learned last visit) Great location! Might come back.
Our 2nd stay here. Lots of redwoods, kind of level sites. WiFi was pretty good, Cable is great. Some site are bigger then others, we had trouble fitting in between the trees and getting our slides out. Very pretty setting, close to town but very quite. We will be back.
We stayed here 1 night to attend a concert down the street. Can't reserve till 14 days prior, we did, but they didn't have any record of it. Can't check in till 5pm, Must leave by 11am. They put us in the parking lot backed up to the trees. Had to move a bunch of cars in the lot to get us in. Cable tv had 3 channels. WiFi was free for an hour, then $6.00 a day! Restrooms need a lot of TLC before my wife would use it. Would only stay here again to attend another concert.
Glad we stayed here- it's quite & clean. Sites are level, but narrow- hug the left side if you can. Showers were spotless. Check in was friendly/helpful. Cable is great! Wi-Fi was OK. Fuel is the cheapest around. We would stay here again.
Top notch park! And it should be- it's $$ but a very nice treat after dry camping for 4 days. Huge level sites, personal garbage cans (dumped twice a day!) Killer Wi-FI in most areas of the park. Super clean everywhere, lots of big pine trees in every site. Staff wants to make sure you have a great visit. Will stay here again.
A nice park for the area. Its a few miles off the Hwy but has all we needed. Staff does a very good job with the park. Wi-Fi was shaky. We could pick up stations on our TV from the area. Gravel, level sites, very dusty on the way in, but very peaceful at night. I would come back if I was in the area.
Lots of trees. Pretty level large sites. Very nice on check in- they want you to have a nice visit. Couldn't get the Direct TV to work- but they tried. We had VERY spotty service on ATT. Close to some nice hiking/site seeing. I didn't use the shower,it was very clean, and we were told we could NOT run them out of hot water, hundreds of gal... Nice place, would stay here again if in the area.
Nice clean park, and it has it all. Strong Wi-Fi through out the park, clean pool. Our site was wide, but I saw some pretty skinny ones. Great for an overnight. Rated lower because of value; $46 is too much for the middle of nowhere.
This place is great. A super value for California ocean camping. The county has done a good job keeping the park up. No hookups, but a free dump station is available. Pretty level asphalt to park on. Fire ring and table at each site. We stayed on the bay side for 2 days, then moved to a site on the jetty that backed up to the Pacific. We will be back.
Very nice park. Lots of improvements have been done & it shows! Most sites are level, most have gravel. Very nice staff. They were happy to have us here. Clubhouse is very nice. Good power and free Wi-Fi. We will be back!
Very nice state park. Not far off the highway, yet very quiet. Staff was super nice on check in. Large sites, some with trees. Very clean, pretty level. Wanted to have a campfire, but had big winds! We will stay here again.
We have stayed here a few times, hasn't changed. Still gravel with hookups for most short stay folks. Sites in the 300 row are very tight. They had us packed in with inches between slides, yet it seemed lots of sites were open. They should spread us out. Cable is good, Wi-Fi costs $$$ and doesn't work well. Still a good place to stay when in town.
Lots of sites are for sale. Most are owned and rented out when owners are not there. Very clean park, lot's of cement. Wi-Fi at our site was fast but kept going off line. Lots of cable channels! Nice place to stay when going to Hoover Dam. We might stay here again.
Feels and looks like Barstow. An older park. Staff was helpful, sites are a bit small. Restroom and showers are clean and old, but worked fine. A good place to spend the night. Cable TV was very weak and costs $1.00. If you need 50 amps it's an extra $3.00. We would stay again if we need a place to rest when passing through.
Some sites are nice & big & shady- others like the 3 we had were very tight & no shade. We had a 30 amp site & blew the breaker a number of times. The park was full & lots of power was being used, but it was a problem! Wi-Fi at our site was weak, and you had to "reconnect" every 30 minutes. The worst part of the park is they don't enforce there own rules. Lots of dogs & cats running loose, and noise, parties & loud music till 3 in the morning! My kids almost got in a fight trying to get the partying folks to quite down. We never saw anyone from the staff after 8 PM. We wouldn't stay here again.
Stayed here before but it was lousy weather. This visit we enjoyed everything the park has to offer. Had a power problem, but they came out right away and changed the breaker: problem solved. Very nice clean pool, ok WiFi at our site but I used our USB antenna and no more problems. You do need a very small waste adaptor to use their hookups. But they do have them at the desk. Good folks, very nice check in. We will be back.
Hard drive in. Was dirt roads for the last mile. Mostly a parking lot with hookups, but it worked for us. Our cable TV outlet was busted, but the casino and big steak dinner helped. WiFi rocked at our site 70. We would stay here again in our 35' footer.
Nice park!!! Semi small view sites. We had a change of plans, called to see if they could get 2 35' motorhomes into view sites. They did a great job! Sites are very clean; restrooms are cleaned all the time. Wi-Fi was spotty till I hooked up our extra antenna, and all was good. Super nice staff! Enterprise car rental picked us up easy. Toured the area for 2 days.. Nice. Great views. Would stay here again.
It was a nice park, with lot's of kids having fun. Check in was easy/fun. The WiFi worked well, but cable did not. They did put us in a shady site- It had a 30 amp service but low voltage, 2 of us has trouble with the power/AC. We hardly heard the trains, Not bad at all. Good place to R.O.N and move on.
This one goes on our top 5 parks in America list! Nice folks run this super clean park. Right on the beach, big level pads, Wi-Fi, super clean restrooms and a club house that make my home look shabby. Close to lots of cool beaches and trails. Cell phones don't work well, so the park has a phone you can call anywhere in the world. We would love to stay here again!
Very nice park. It's 6 miles off the hiway, but a very small road. Hard drive for a big rig. Has nice big sites on the river. Big fire pit at each site. Very limited cell service, did have WiFi, but only at the office. Jet boat tours leaves right from the campground docks. Clean and quiet park.
We love this park. It's very clean and has great office folks! Casino is next door. (They gave us $25.00 free play.) Restrooms are clean! The Wifi didn't work, so I called the office. They reset the router and thanked me for letting them know, nice. Has lot's of green grass. We will be back.
Nice park: very much a KOA. WiFi was very weak. Has a very central location. It's close to the freeway, but quiet. Sites are a bit narrow: we had to move so the slides could open. Restrooms were spotless! We would stay here again.
We were here during a storm. Not many folks were here, we got a great site looking right out to huge crashing waves. Site are a little skinny but our 34' MH with slides fit ok. Despite the crazy winds and rain, we had power and fast Wi-Fi. The only bad was lots of traffic driving through. We would stay here again.
Super nice park, located close to the freeway but you would never know it. It's very clean and quiet. Pool and hot tub (inside) are spotless. Wi-Fi rocks. And, there is a shuttle that runs you over to the casino for fun and good food. Will stay here again, soon I hope.
We have stayed here before: but this visit will be out last. Due to a storm the park had no power. So no water (pumps are electric) and no Wi-Fi. We left a day early and I asked for some kind of concession. The manager came out of her office and told me they don't make concession for anyone: anytime! I tried to explain that I have been a customer before, have recommended the park a number of times and I wasn't a happy camper. She was rude, made fun of me in front of other customers etc. I payed and told her I would tell everyone I know about my bad experience. She said go right ahead. So I am. The campers were very friendly but the staff seemed to hate their jobs. We are in the area often but will never stay here again!
We stayed 1 night. Our site was in the back of the park and very skinny! We got our slides out, but had no room to walk around the coach. The park was almost full, they had a rock/gem show going on. The casino is within walking distance, but a shuttle would be nice. Wi-Fi was good. We would stay here again. Good Value.
Our 1st stay here, Very nice for a one nighter. The restrooms/showers are super clean! Wi-Fi was a little slow, but glad they have it. Very well kept park. It close to the Hwy, but I never heard road noise. The oranges make it fun! We will stop here again
Nice park set well off the freeway. Quite farm setting. Open grassy sites with a few trees. Great Wi-Fi at all the sites. Nice pool, but closed for the winter. No hot tub. Fire pits make for nice campfire. Easy friendly check in. We would stay again.
Outstanding Park. Big open grassy sites. Some have views of the lake, our site overlooked the airport so I got to watch planes takeoff and land. Fun! Wi-Fi is available in the store only. Would be nice to have at the sites. Close to the LA area. A gem! We will stay here again.
Very nice clean park. Super nice upon check in! Light breakfast (free) every morning. The pool is spotless & heated nicely. Open space around the park has lots of wild critters. Very pretty desert setting. Shuttle to the casino is 24/7. We stayed 3 nights but would have stayed longer if we had more time.
This park has it all. It's made for family camping. The Wifi is free for one hour then costs a few bucks. We stayed here for 1 night on Halloween, which is a big deal here. There were lots of kids. We would stay here again.
Campground is not as bad as I had read. The lake was way down and very muddy. It was 7 miles to fuel and a small town. Sites do have some shade but are not level. There are limited rest rooms: kind of clean with no showers. Noisy after 10! We stayed in the RV section and it was more tame then the tent sites. We wouldn't come back.
A very nice park: clean and everything you would want. They have a nice pool and spa; very clean restrooms and showers; a nice store and a fast Wi-Fi. There are lots of cable TV at this quiet and clean park, plus a free shuttle to the casino or a easy 5 min walk. Park is very close to the lake. We will stay here again.
Nice park that's close to Hiway 5 but no noise. We had a nice shady site close to the clean restrooms. No power problems thankfully as it was 100+ outside. Wi-Fi was fine the night we were here. The pool is bit small but felt great! We would stay here again.
Super nice park! Its very clean plus large sites with lots of grass and landscaping. The shuttle will take you to the casino or to a couple restaurants close by. I got ill and was taken to a hospital 30+ miles away. As the ambulance was about to drive away, the staff said to call if we needed anything. At 2:30am when I was discharged, there are no cabs in town. We called the resort and they sent a car out to bring us back to our RV! Amazing!!! Beside being a beautiful park they went above and beyond!!! We will be back!
Better then I read. Our site was close to the office & restroom. We had good Wi-Fi our entire stay: 3 nights. Park is close to lots of great sites in the area. Our dog liked walking down by the river: they even have an off-leash area where dogs can swim. The weekend was crowded but the park thins out mid-week. We would stay here again.
A clean, modern park. Very nice on our check in: got a site close to the office & restrooms. We were here only for the night so it worked out super. Had an ice-cream social and a nice pool! Central, tri-county location.
Nice park, but. Wi-Fi is weak, and there is no cable TV (big deal now). Shady sites but had big-time stickers that hurt my feet and were worse on the dogs. The "Spind drift" bar/grill was fun. Great food. Steak and eggs $5.00 on weekends.
