Easy to locate RV park from I-10, exit 303, and 7 miles from junction of I-10/I-75(towards Jacksonville). Owner was very friendly and helpful. Escorted to site and helped park coach. Grounds have large shade trees over some sites, and other sites have no shade. Sites are clean and grassy with a fairly level gravel track to site your RV. Good water pressure, and no electrical issues with 30 or 50 amp hook up. Cable worked great, and a few channels were even available using the antenna. WiFi was okay, but as in many parks, it was not secure. Traffic noise from I-10 was noticeable in sites 50 - 67, but not disturbing. Exiting the sites and park is easy, and directions were available showing a shorter route back to I-75 if hat was your direction of choice. This park is big rig friendly. We would not hesitate to camp here again.
This was a one night stay. Staff was friendly and check-in was okay. Interior roads are rough, narrow and in need of work. Sites are not too level front to back or side to side, and could be improved with gravel being added. Utilities worked fine, but sewer hookup is surrounded by concrete and is rather high. Had to raise and support sewer hose to get it to flow.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Escorted to site and received help backing in. Sites are all gravel and too close together. The park has many permanent units, but this did not create a problem and the people were friendly. All sites and interior roads are gravel, and there is little grass to be found in the park. There are many large shade trees, but leaves are an issue. It appears the leaves have not been raked up for a long time, and in wet weather the are brought in to the coach. Picnic tables are weathered but very usable, and they are located close to your coach because the sites are too narrow. We used this campground as a base camp while touring Nashville. Thus, we did not spend a lot of time at our site. It seems to be a classic case of "you get what you pay for". I think I would evaluate other facilities before returning.
Located at I-65, exit 64. Off the main roads, but easy to find. Nice park for a night while traveling north or south on I-65. Staff was friendly and check in was quick. Park is well shaded, but is almost 100% gravel. Pull thru site was easy to get into and fairly level. Interior roads are some what narrow but constructed in such a way that big rigs can make the turns if driver pass close attention to each turn, and a spotter would be helpful. Water had good pressure, and there were no electrical issues. Only 2 full hookup sites shown on the site map. A fairly large number of seasonal units, but that was not an issue. Park has a good size pool that is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, and a nice playground for the youngsters. WiFi was available only around the main office, laundry and pool area. Told it is being reworked in the entire park and should be operable in a few weeks. There is no cable TV, and the many trees block satellite reception. There were many TV channels available over the air. We enjoyed a quiet night and would return to Woods N Waters.
Very nice park to stay for a night or two. Road noise may be an issue because park is immediately adjacent to I-65, north exit 201, and there are many big trucks. Rate is what Good Sam members pay. Check-in was friendly, fast, and efficient. Pull-through sites may need attention to create a more level pad and fill low spots. Standing water on sites, grassy areas, and roads may be a present after a rain storm. Some water hookups are on the door side of the RV, but there is good water pressure. Wireless Internet is available for a charge. There is no cable TV, but over the air channels are available with a good digital antenna. Swimming in the small lake is allowed only at the beach, and the beach was neat and clean. From June 1 to August 31, there are many activities at the park for kids of all ages. We have stayed here many times as we traveled I-65, and have not been disappointed with the park and facilities. We will stay here again.
Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and we were escorted to the pull thru site, but sites are close together. Sites are black top with pea gravel between sites. There are many long term RVs set up as well as the over night RVs. Bathrooms are kept locked, but key is easily available. Park is located under the airport traffic pattern for landing planes. Plane noise may be an issue. Cable is available, but we only received 3 channels. Switched to over the air programming and many channels were available. WiFi worked very well. Because of this park's location and environment we would not return. It does not seem to fit the KOA model.
Rate shown is a rally rate. Very friendly and helpful staff. Was escorted to our site. Entrance roads are paved, but interior roads are gravel and well groomed. Sites are both concrete and gravel, but all are level. Cable system requires changing the hook up on your TV to connect a cable box given to us at time of registration. We were told a new company is coming in and the boxes will be history, but this process is still a couple of month away. WiFi was slow. Grounds are well kept and there is a beautiful view of the mountains. Very quiet park, but is located about 8 miles from town. We would return to this RV park again.
Staff is friendly, but any discounts must be requested at time of check in and registration. Staff did not ask if we qualified for any discounts. Some sites are gravel and others are black top, but leveling may be a challenge on some sights. Our site had the black top heaving up in 2 areas. This made placement of landing gear crucial. There are low hanging tree branches in areas so be sure to look up. Scenery is beautiful and park is very quiet and relaxing listening to the many song birds. Most sites are back in, and backing is easy if you do not get a blind side site. Staying here again is a realistic possibility.
Checked in by and older gentleman and it was quick and easy. Received an escort to the site and the host pointed out all the connections. Very friendly host. Roads are gravel and dirt. It was raining when we arrived and roads were muddy and full of puddles. Site was fairly level, and there is a good distance between sites. We are not on top of our neighbor and slides do not meet. Cable and WiFi work well. This is a nice park to spend a night as you travel I-75, and it is an easy on off the interstate.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Resort is located in the country, and there are no stores too close. Fantasy of Flight is adjacent to the park, www.fantasyofflight.com. Sites are mostly backing, sites along lake are drive in for motor home. All sites have a concrete pad and patio. No WiFi or cable TV. Pool is large and very clean. This is a nice park to spend a night or a few months.
Big rigs are able to enter the park off highway 90, but interior roads are narrow and curve. Drivers need to know the off tracking characteristics of their towed vehicle to avoid trees. Employee working check in desk was not very welcoming, but quick to point our pet and park rules. Park has shade, but over night sites seems to need attention to get them level front to back and side to side. It seems level sites are for extended stay units. The pool was closed even though the temperature was 86 at 3:00 in the afternoon. Use of washer and dryer is not allowed. There is no fenced in pet run, but there is a specific pet walking area. However, this area is only identified on the park map. There are no signs indicating where it is located. Hook ups for water and electric are close to the ground, and if a person has issues with bending may need help hooking up. The atmosphere of the park seems to be "sterile", and we would not stay here again.
Received a friendly greeting and registration was quick. Received a map of the park and staff pointed out important information and location of dumpsters, showers and bathrooms. Escorted to site and received help parking coach so slides would open without hitting power box. All sites are pull through and level, wide and long, but gravel. Roads are gravel, too, but not full of holes. Cable works very well with many channels. However, WiFi seems to be slow. There is a very large secure dog run. The pond at the park has a walking path around it and seems to be an inviting place to sit and relax. Traffic noise is not an issue, and this park is very neat and clean. We would stay here again as the nightly rate is very attractive.
Road to park is very rough and full of holes. Roads in the park are gravel but passable. Pull thru site was level with a concrete pad. Had to find the site on our own without the aid of a park map or escort. The park seemed run down because of many permanent trailers that were in very poor condition. Permanent campers did not pick up after their pets. Office, washroom, showers, and laundry are in a trailer. There is only a shower and toilet in the men's room, and they seemed to be in rough condition. There was a pond that seemed to smell like an open sewer. We would not stay here again.
Registration was quick and easy. Site was easy to locate, but did not receive and escort. Pull thru sites are level and long, but some sites are close together. Good water pressure. Wi-Fi and cable worked well. Pool was clean, but pool deck seemed to need attention. Outside carpeting on deck was in poor condition showing wear, holes, and coming loose. Park is located close to I-55, but traffic noise is not an issue, but train horn is very audible. Nice park to use as a base while touring in the area. We would return.
Easy to find this park from I-55, north or south bound. Check in was efficient and quick. Reservation information was accurate. Roads are gravel, but they are smooth and not full of pot holes. There was rain, but there was not a lot of standing water. Most sites are pull through, level and have 2 sewer hook ups, one in the back of the site and one in the middle of the site. Good water pressure, and cable signal is strong and works well with many channels. WiFi is slow and not too strong. Park is quiet, and traffic noise is not an issue. This is a nice park to use for a one night stay while traveling to other destinations. Good value for the dollar.
Check in was very efficient and staff was friendly. Escorted to site. Being in the Ozarks area is hilly and sites may slop front to back. There are trees throughout the park, but not all sites are shaded. Sites may need work to improve their level. Sites are not too close together, but grassy area between sites may be mostly weeds and not too smooth. Thus, this area may be a challenge on which to walk. Wi-Fi and cable TV work well. Pool and spa were clean and well maintained. Trash is picked up every morning at your site. Office sells show tickets and offers special prices on some shows. Discount coupons are also provided. Park is quiet and relaxing. We have stayed here in the past and will return.
Park is close to I-44/Hwy 66 and highway noise seems to be an issue as traffic noise is loud. Staff was efficient and friendly during check in. The escort to our site was very helpful and offered suggestions for setting up our big rig. Some sites are gravel and other black top. Park is divided into 3 sections and roads are easy to navigate. Family friendly activities were scheduled for the weekend, and the pool is large and clean. We would stay here again.
We felt very welcome and appreciated the escort to the site. Site was gravel and grass, but fairly level. Trees were trimmed, but gravel roads are curvy. Roads can be driven slowly by a big rig. WiFi was very slow. Park was very quiet, neat and clean, but there are acorns around the bathroom area which may be a hazard for any one with issues walking. It was enjoyable staying at a park without dealing with the roar of the interstate. We would stay at this Park again.
Enjoyed staying at this park. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Sites 15-28 are very close and putting out your awning may be an issue. Park is well groomed and there is a dog walking area. The Village Inn has an indoor pool and RVers are welcome to use it. The park has a beautiful view of the lake and there are many things to visit and do in the area. We will be back to the Village Inn.
Staff was friendly & helpful. Facility was neat, clean and well cared for. Large area for the kids to play and run that is away from campers. Pedal cars a golf carts available for rent. Had train rides for kids at night, but charged $1. There was also an ice cream sundae event. Charge was $3, but there was a variety of toppings to cover a large helping of ice cream. Free wagon rides were also given later in the evening, 8:30 pm. Low hanging tree limbs may be an issue for the big rigs. Some sites could use leveling, especially front to back. The gravel pads seemed narrow, but very usable for the automatic leveling system. We had an electrical issue, and staff was there to help right away. We would probably would stay here again.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Our site was grass and you had to find the right spot to level your rig. Some sites had the deep tire tracks left by Diesel pushers when the ground was wet. The site had no shade, 300 section. TV and Wi-Fi worked well. Washrooms and showers were well kept and clean. There is a large building for rallies. We would return, and it is located in an area that makes it easy to get around the area.
This RV park caters to adults and is quiet, neat and clean. The interstate highway can be heard, but it is not an issue. Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Big rigs can get into the sites as the majority are pull through with full service. Roads are gravel but in good condition, not full of pot holes. Sites could use some leveling, but they are not so bad that you cannot level your unit. Area discount coupons and free coffee are available in the office. There is also a very nice shelter for rallies and large group gatherings, and the shelter is close to the wash rooms. We have camped here many times and will return.
Very easy park to get to off of interstate highway, and close to big box stores and tourist attractions. Check in was quick, and a discount is available if you pay with check or cash. No pool or cable TV, but unsecured Wi-Fi works well. The sites are level and all have 50 amp and sewer. Staff is very warm and friendly. We would stay here again.
Easy to get to off I-90/94. The owners, were very cordial and helpful. I-90 traffic noise may be an issue for some people. Site was easy to pull into and hook up. Hookups worked well, and there was good water pressure Cable had many clear channels. Wi-Fi was secure and was fairly fast. Grounds were clean and neat, and the fire pits were also cleaned out. Prices in camp store were very reasonable. We would stay here again.
Staff made me feel welcome and were well organized. Pull through site was large and fairly level. They have 50 amp but no cable TV. Received a few over the air TV channels. Very neat and well kept park with a large foot print. Plenty of room to relax. Some sites are a far distance from the pool. Garbage is collected at your site. Highway noise is not a problem. We would stay here again.
Park located behind the Super 8 one block north of interstate highway. Received a warm friendly greeting. Check in was quick and easy. Received info for touring in the area. Park is neat and clean, but site may need some work to level it side to side. Hook ups were in good shape, water pressure was strong, and cable TV worked very well. We would stay here again.
Easy park to get into with big rig, and it is a short distance north of I-90. Gravel site with full hook ups, but rows A & B do not have cable hook up. Check in was quick and easy, and the staff was helpful with answering area touring questions. They provided go maps and printed info. Called ahead when I was in Rapid City, SD to find out if I could get a brake wire repaired in Wall. Owner sent me to a very good RV dealer in Rapid City. We would stay here again.
Easy to get into with big rig, but campground is hilly. However, remember you are in SD Black Hills. Shown to site by owner. Site was level and well groomed. Office staff very helpful, and check in was speedy. Nice park. Would stay here again.
I felt very welcome by by the owners. I was told to get set up and then come into to the office to complete registration. She walked me to my pull through site. Park is very neat, and sites are on concrete with landscaping with wood chips around the pad. Wi-Fi worked very well. Cable TV was clear, sharp, and a wide selection of channels. Swimming pool is well maintained, and you do not have to walk a great distance to deposit your trash. I would suggest making a reservation as the park has only 33 sites, and it filled up by early evening. We would stay here again.
Very neat, clean and quiet resort. No gravel. Sites are concrete and roads are paved. Some sites have a concrete pad for parking tow/toad vehicle. Some traffic noise may be heard, but not and issue. Office personnel are very friendly and helpful. They helped me find the best price for a needed tire. Printed directions and explained the route. Pool was clean and fresh, but no shade in the pool area. Cable TV works very well. Received a clear crisp picture without any interference. WiFi, unsecured, but worked well. Nice to have grass and a very nice picnic table just outside your door. Sites may be closer together than some people like to see, but spacing was not an issue, and nothing interfered with slide outs. Stayed here in a fifth wheel, and would stay here again.
Had reservations and received a friendly greeting upon arrival. Registration was quick and easy because of reservation. Received a site that was upfront, but could be re-leveled. Large concrete patio but no picnic table. Hook ups are side by side with rigs facing opposite way. Grounds are nicely groomed with grass net to every other site, and roads are paved. Many sites occupied by long term guests. Wi-Fi & cable worked well. Pool and hot tub are very small. Campers get to use all amenities at the near by Hilton. 20% off meals at the Hilton is also included. Would stay here again.
The park is clean and neatly landscaped but all sites are black top. Cable has some good channels and others that are real snowy. Train & interstate highway noise are audible but not a serious problem. Many sites are held by permanent units. The location is close to downtown and easy to get to. It is a good campground for an over night stay or to use as a base camp because it is a short distance from the interstate. Restrooms were locked and entrance was by a key available in office. There is a motel, but it seems to be used by workers and may not be open to public. We would stay here again.
Very friendly and helpful office staff. Site was level and had grassy area on each side of the site. Easy for big rigs to get in and out. Many long term rigs in park, but people were friendly. Park is very clean, and dumpsters are close to sites around the park. Close to I-5, but traffic noise was not an issue. Pet friendly, and has a large dog run area. Has adult pool and family pool. We would stay here again, and stayed in our fifth wheel.
Easy park to locate off I-40, and near major roads and 202 loop in Chandler. Host couple is very friendly and helpful. Park is clean and has good paved roads. Pool and hot tub clean and well kept. Park has a library with a great deal of what to do in the area information. Park is primarily a MH park but RVers are made to feel welcome. We stayed 8 days and would stay here again.
Stayed for one night. Site 38 was level. Cable did not work at first but issue was taken care of right away. Turns with 38ft fiver were some what tight. Received warm welcome by owner. I would stay her again.
Great place for 1 night or to use as a base camp. No picnic tables, but did not want one any way. Cable did not work well at our site, 23, but was checked out immediately. I just hooked to one site over and had perfect cable. Host was very friendly and apologized for the cable issue. Good water pressure. Great value, and I would return.
