Level campground, grass, few trees. Each site is about the same size. Width of sights snug, but adequate. Sites are grass with gravel drive for RV. Grounds are very well kept, clean. Enjoyed adult only swimming in indoor pool 9-10p. Campground is walking distance from Bonners and also very close to downtown and River Place Shops. If in the area would stay again.
We stayed here one night. The staff was very friendly. We were guided to our site. The site was a pull-through. Length was good, width was snug. The campground has cabins and smaller sites in the front, then pull-through larger sites on the upper half. The pool was clean. Cable was good. If in the area would stay here again.
Owners friendly. Campsites are terraced on a hill with level gravel sites. Some sites widths are tight. Our site was of good width. Walking trail around swimming/fishing pond. Saw no one swimming. Some of seasonals have older trailers. Don't know if I would stay again if in the area.
Mostly seasonal campground. Located on Huron River with marina. If you enjoy the river you may like. Many seasonals with older trailers. Transient sites are good size. We were on pull thru site near marina. Good length and width. It poured the morning we were to pull out. We opened our door to our site fully under 6 inches of water, with geese walking by. The gravel drive we were parked on was above the water level. If in the area again we would look for another campground.
We were on a Bridge View campsite which offers great views of Lake Huron, very tranquil and enjoyable sunsets. Across from our row of sites was a grass parklike setting for any campers to bring lawn chairs to take in the views. The campground is a short distance from town for shopping and sightseeing. Bike riding in the campground is good because of the large size and many roads are paved. The sites are snug in width, though the length was good for ours. If on a site other than lakeview I don't feel it would have been as enjoyable. The only trash disposal is at the entrance of campground, very far away. Pool also seemed very small considering size of campground. Sand beach area had a very muddy and rocky lake entrance. I would return to this campground because of the views.
The lake side campsites are a 10 plus. This is a small size campground, and not much in activities, but if you want awesome views and some relaxation this is it. Our site was a very good size with full hookups and private. It was partly sand and the beach was just a few steps away to enjoy a sandy Lake Superior. Location was good for sightseeing the UP. I look forward to someday returning to the UP and this would definitely be a place I would return to again.
This was a one night stop. The campground is adequate for a casino campground. The drive thrus accommodate two RVs, one to the front and one to back. So if you are in the back you must wait for RV in front of you to depart. Width of sites are snug but adequate. Campground is in the rear of the casino's parking lot so it is quiet and distant in woods. This was suitable for a one nighter and enjoying the casino.
This campground has awesome views of Lake Michigan. We were in the front row at the end. There is a 4 lane road in front of the row between the site and Lake Michigan but can still easily enjoy the view. There is Mariner's Bike Trail across the street that runs alongside the lake and offers steps down to beach access. The Inn has an indoor pool that is open until 11 pm which was enjoyable. Staff was friendly. The only big disappointment was the size of the sites. Length was just enough for our truck and 5th wheel, but motorhomes with cars had very limited room. The width of sites were very tight. After putting our trailer steps down we were just a few feet from the next trailers septic. Our site's table was on the other side of our trailer where there was more room, but others did not have that option and were very tight.
Very refreshing campground. Sites behind pool area, especially outer circle are exceptionally large in size. Grass, private and some trees. These were back-in sites, but I found them to be larger in size compared to the pull-through sites which are accommodating in size. The campground is very clean, friendly staff, with some nice extras such as their snack bar and drinkable water jugs by pool. The seasonals are in the back half of the campground. Transients are in the front portion. Location is good just a couple miles from main attraction area. Only con was poor Wi-Fi from site. If in the area would stay again.
Campground is all pull through sites and level with grass and few trees. Sites were plenty long, but tend to be a bit snug in width. Good location for visiting RV Hall of Fame, RV factory tour, Heritage Trail. Keep in mind Amish country plus RV factories close on weekends. We visited on July 4th weekend which also RV factories close for the week around the holiday. Campground was less than half full, so plenty of room. If in area would stay here again.
We stayed during July 4th weekend. It was a wet week in the area, which left the site in very poor condition with ruts and extremely muddy. Site size is very long, but very tight in width. Set up facing one trailer and back to the back of another. With more rain during the weekend, the ground could not absorb and became more muddy. Had to lock in 4 wheel when driving on site. Location of campground is a close drive to Erie Zoo and Presque Isle. If in the area again would look to camp elsewhere.
