The campground was a good place to stay for a visit to the National Park. Check-in was a little slow. We had reserved a 30 amp long site but were assigned a short site. After we checked the site we asked to be moved and they were very nice about moving us to a longer site. Wi-Fi worked, not super fast but good. I changed the listing to 'no pool'. The pool is part of the city park next door and was an extra fee but it was closed for long term structural repairs.
We stayed here for a quick overnight stop on our way west. It was expensive for an overnight but it was easy to get in and out and our pull-through site was long enough that we did not need to unhook our 35' 5th wheel. We exited through an unoccupied site, but I can see where it could get really tight to maneuver when the campground is full.
I was happy that we decided to take a chance on this park after the previous reviews. We camped on a weeknight near the end of June and found the park to be about two-thirds full; it did not feel overly crowded. Our site was long enough that we did not need to unhook our 35 foot 5th wheel. It was a great place to break up our cross country drive. The kids loved playing on the sand dunes and swimming in the lake. The bathrooms were modern and clean. We would definitely return.
