We have been to this park 3 times now and love it every time. The whole family loves hiking through the mountains and make sure you wake up early to watch the sunrise from the overlook. We were pleasantly surprised that the fires did not damage most of the park. It is a state park, so the restrooms and showers are somewhat rugged, but more than adequate. We just happend to be here during the Perseid meteor showers and it was spectacular. We will be back.
This was a great park. The owners were very friendly and were very helpful even though we came in late. The kids had a great time playing mini-golf and chess at the playground. The bathrooms and showers were clean and updated.
