This campsite is conveniently located near Moab and a few state and national parks. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were escorted to our site. The sites are relatively tight, but the views are fantastic. The sites do not have grass and are mostly gravel. It can get quite dusty, but this is offset by the frequent rabbit sightings. The internet service is free, but slow and inconsistent while the cable TV selections were sufficient. We have stayed here before and will stay again. One necessary but unusual annoyance, is a drop of water pressure for a couple of hours 2-3 times per week as the irrigate the trees. I would encourage them to install timers and irrigate at 2 am to offset the evaporation, improve root growth and not disturb the campers. The pool was great, but it becomes crowded quite quickly. The recreation room is in need of some modernization as some video games are damaged. The laundry room has a fair number of washers and dryers, but some are out of order. It is rumored that new units will be installed next year. As mentioned earlier, we will stay here again.
The pizza was very good and the staff was very friendly. The lot itself is almost devoid of trees. It needs more to counter the "parking lot effect". Our children enjoyed the clean pool. At $34 per night, this was a great value.
This park left much to be desired and is in need of some serious renovations: The pool water was green on one side, 1 of 2 filters was not working and debris was strewn all over the surface. The internet was non existent or so slow (less than 0.2 meg/sec) that it was unusable. If a service offered is unusable, then it should not be offered. The playground was old and rusty with a wooden teeter-totter and a rusted slide from the 1970's. The fence had just been repainted in the bright KOA colours. We were not escorted to our site. This seemed unusual to us as most KOA campsites offer this service and upon arrival can immediately address any concerns. The check-in staff was friendly but the front desk was so far from the campsites and we only stayed overnight that we simply packed up ASAP in the morning and departed hastily.
