We stayed here two years ago. Well maintained campground with gravel sites. We had a pull thru site, the utilities all worked without any problems. Be aware that they have high water pressure. The bathroom facilities are top notch, clean and well maintained. Friendly staff.
Stayed here last year, about the same time. Nice wide shady sites, concrete pads & fire rings. Close to the area attractions, but far enough off the beaten path, very quiet. There are no shower or bath facilities. We made the trip to Cades Cove in the Smokies the day before the so called Gov't. shut down. Previous posts had some issues with water quality, we didn't have any issues with the water.
Clean restrooms, nicely wooded sites with several full timers. Made a reservation, arrived late and there were no reservations on the board. Found out the next day someone just pulled in and took our reservation. Stayed here in a travel trailer on our way down to Disney with our 2 grand daughters ages 4 and 7.
Nice wooded camp ground. Friendly staff with a security gate and security person (on site). All utilities worked as expected. We used this camp ground as a base to visit Weeki Wachee, (mermaids.) Tarpon Springs, (sponge divers) and Homosassa Spring Wildlife State Park...Excellent park. our 2 grand daughters ages 4 and 7 enjoyed all of the above.
Camped here at one of the premium sites. Wide paved site with easy access to all utilities. Bathroom facilities along with laundry were top notch. Transportation within the Disney site was great, pool area was clean, very child friendly. There were lots of kid things to do, I think you could easily spend your time just enjoying the campground facilities and not even go to the park. We camped here for 5 days with our 2 grand daughters ages 4 and 7.
Very clean, large pull thru sites. All utilities worked as expected, Clean bathrooms. Very nice and well stocked meeting room/laundry facilities, games, books, coffee 24/7. Pool is saline and clean. We camped here in a travel trailer with our 2 grand daughters 4 and & 7 on our way to Disney.
Very friendly family oriented campground. Level pull through sites with all utilities in proper working order. Clean restrooms and showers. Camped here with our 2 grand daughters 4 and 7 on our way to Disney.
We stayed here for 6 days, well laid out private sites. Location is ideal, quiet but still close to Pigeon Forge strip. There are no bathroom or shower facilities but with full hookups at each site they were not missed. Park is very well maintained.
Very clean, well maintained resort. Our site was a back in, ultra wide and deep, all utilities worked fine. The pool area was top notch. I would have given the resort a 10 if it had some shade. Was lots of small newly planted trees, area looks like it might have been wooded, then cleared?? Close to the beach town of South Haven and a short 2 mile drive to a great u-pick blueberry farm Degrandchamp in South haven. Camped here with 2 grand children: 3 and 6. We would go back.
The Garmin had us go through town and we found the small town streets a bit difficult to maneuver. The campground interior roads are gravel and well maintained, restrooms were clean as were the showers. My wife and grand daughter had a large spider encounter and refused to use the facilities. Playground was modern with a dusty sand base. Utilities all worked fine.
We camped here over Father's Day week end on our way back home. The place was packed. I think the facilities were taxed to the max. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Coming from the East the entrance is a Sharp right turn, not a problem, just be aware. Close to town and the interstate.
We found this campground to be close to the interstate and Cowboy Town in Love Valley, N.C. a must visit if you are in the area. The campground interior roads are gravel and fairly well maintained, restrooms were clean, but dated. Some run down older travel trailers. All the utilities worked fine, the water pressure was good. They were having live Bluegrass music and a Pow Wow the day we were here.
After reading previous reviews, this place surprised us. The roads were gravel, as was the camp site, well maintained with no pot holes. Rest rooms, showers were clean and well maintained, kids playground was very nice, modern and clean. Pool was clean and well maintained, host was friendly and although not there, as we arrived late, he was here early the next morning. Has some year round campers, interior roads are narrow.
Typical KOA, sites were a little cramped, all utilities worked fine, the campground was well maintained. The kids playground was a miss match of old Playschool slides and a metal swing set. This area could really use improvement. Restrooms were not the cleanest, spider webs, etc.
Very family oriented campground. Large, level. grassy sites. We had a pull through site. Very clean, well maintained, clean restrooms and shower facilities. We were traveling with our 2 granddaughters 3 and 6 and they loved the place. A little off the beaten path, but well worth the time.
One of the nicest, cleanest parks we have ever stayed in. Bathroom/shower rooms were spotless. Sites are wide, paved with concrete pads, fire rings, and BBQ. Pool was clean and well maintained. They have a large lake and free paddle boats, a sandy beach, and an inflated slide. Office staff was friendly and helpful. A little off the beaten path, but worth the drive.
Well maintained, clean, paved sites, great pool and playground. Traveled with 2 grand daughters and they had a great time. The week end we were there they had a small fair, very entertaining. The resort is rather large, but well laid out.
Stayed here on the way back to Illinois from TN. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Bath and showers were top notch. Traveled with two grand daughters and they really enjoyed the playground. The roads were rough but they are working on fixing them. Great place to stay. In addition down the road is a great BBQ place called Fat Boys, family run and very down home.
