We stayed here for one night to see the London Bridge on our way to Yuma AZ. We camped near the lake, our site had water and power. This an OK park but I would not come back. The reason we won't come back is when we arrived in Yuma I noticed they put stickers on my pickup and 5th wheel with our site # and date of departure. The tags will have to scraped off with a razor blade. I have never had a campground do this in my 40 yrs of camping. I don't appreciate having my vehicle vandalized.
We stayed here 5 nights with two other rigs from Colorado. The park is very well kept, lots of trees, generous spaces. There were lots of vacant spaces, I have been told it gets pretty busy later in the season. With our senior parks pass: 5 nights cost us $25.00. The only drawback is it's dry camping. It's close to Hoover Dam and shopping in Boulder City. We would surely come again.
We have stayed here a number of times with our FCRV group. Nice park ,owners are wonderful, most sites are very good. We stayed here last September 2010 with 12 rigs, we made reservations the previous February so our rigs would be together. When we arrived they had given over half our spots to other campers and put half of our group all over the campground. They couldn't understand the problem. That will be the last time for our group. Beware if you stay here with a group, who ever does the reservations down there doesn't have a clue what day it is.
We stayed here two times: once on Feb 3rd, 2010, and again on Oct 25th, 2010. The January rate was $10.00, the October rate was $20.00. It was perfect for us, we have three Basset Hounds, lots of room to walk them. Good Direct TV signal, 24 hour security. Casino is nice but a bit smoky. They have an excellent prime rib buffet: $12.99. We had their buffet on both of our stops, it was very good. I don't see this for more than an over night stop
