This RV park has certainly seen its better days. It did appear that some of the power pedestals and water hydrants have been upgraded. Most of the buildings seem run down and the rear of the park is filled with long term units. I met the owner and he told me the park is for sale since he is no longer able to maintain it well. He did say his busy time is during the snowbird migrations. It was OK for a one night stop over.
OK for an overnight but really not much more than grass and gravel with full hook ups. If you are a golfer there is a driving range. There is no attendant and there is self check-in, cash or personal checks only. There is only 30 amp service and it was hot when we got there so we had to run generator for several hours so we could run more than one AC. Great little diner nearby called Mollie's and a small Flying J.
Really nice park overall. Easy access from I-80 but very little road noise from the interstate. Sites are really wide and most are very long. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of open space between the sites and adjacent corn fields to walk the dogs. Very small enclosed off leash dog run. Only negative is the roads are a bit rough. They were originally paved but most of the original blacktop has crumbled. Would come here again if in the area.
This was OK for an overnight or short stay to see things in the area. Sites were long, wide and level, but this is a no-frills place that has certainly seen its better days. While it is close to I-80, there was little noise from the highway.
Stopped here on our way to Oregon. Not a large RV park but meticulously maintained, really spotless. Clean gravel roads and level sites. Staff very friendly and helpful. This is located in a rural setting and is very peaceful and quiet. There are several semi-permanent RV's here (contractors) but all of them are neat. Not far from Boise and other towns and attractions. Would definitely stay here again.
Agree this park offers easy access from I-90. Nothing special, and appears to need some work. We elected to book a satellite-friendly site in the back. The few sites in the back are in need of work. The area is muddy and the actual parking areas are low and need to be filled in with stone. When my coach leveled, the front steps were 1/2" from the ground. The sites near the office in the trees are better for sure. The campground map shows a fenced dog run. The fence at the front of the area had been removed.
We were headed to a Walmart when we saw this RV Park from the interstate and we really wanted full hookups so we checked it out. It was daylight so not hard to find the directional signs. Agree with a previous post that it might be hard to find at night. Owner was very nice. The roads were gravel as were the sites and they were perfectly level. Grass around the sites and a few trees. Everything appeared clean and well maintained. It is very close to I-84 so noise might be an issue for some. With AC on, we were fine. Certainly not a destination RV park but a fine stop over if in the area.
Nice RV park. Both pull-throughs and back-in sites are long and most are very level. Trash cans at every site. Easy access off I-435 and easy to get to places to see in KC. For anyone who might have a need, they do allow you to wash your RV/car at your site. We would stay here again if in the area.
This is one of the nicest, best maintained RV parks we've used. Everything was scrubbed clean, painted and manicured. The staff was friendly and helpful. They do not allow rugs or carpets (to avoid killing their grass) and they do have a carpet of grass over the entire area. Our Trailer Life directory indicated they had WiFi internet but they did not. They do rent a cable modem for $10 per day if you want high speed internet access at your site. Their daily rate is a bit higher than normal but this is the nicest RV park in the Emerald Isle area.
