This was a find. Very close to town, but far enough form town to make you feel you were not in it. Minutes from the beach, malls and Sea World. The lake is beautiful and very peaceful if you get a water front site. The sites are well maintained and I saw someone come and rake every site as soon as someone pulled out. Biking is great both around the windy streets of the park and the small neighborhoods close by. The office is very nice, much like the atrium of a large hotel, with friendly employees waiting to help you. All in all the stay was very nice.
A very nice park. Even better if you get the right site. There are a lot of intrenched people mixed in with the traveling RV'ers. The facilities are nice and it is centrally located, close to malls and restaurants. The park is right next to a light rail station, so you can get on the tram and go anywhere. Something that a lot of travelers don't think about, but it is an easy way to get to the Mall. Some sites are near grass, which is nice for pets.
We have been here many times over the past several years. The people are always nice, and the snowbirds are very friendly. We found that many of them have been spending the winters here for over 20 years. There is Yard Bowling every week that many people participate in. The spaces are large. Large enough to park sideways in your spot if you want, and people do. The water is OK for showers and toilet, but I would not drink it. Filtered water delivery is available, and many snowbirds do this.
We loved our stay. The owners came out to greet us when we pulled into the park. Something other guests told us they always do. The spots were nice and clean, and fit our 40' Winnebago with 4 slides just fine. We have stayed at several of the large resort type parks in the area for much more money, and this was a great find for us. We will be back whenever we are in the area.
