This park was very well kept up. There are a lot of permanents here, but it is very quiet. Joanne was very helpful letting us check in late at night and just come in to pay in the morning. At the edge of the property there is water and we saw people headed down there with their kayaks. Looks like a great place to spend a couple of days.
Park was average. Staff was friendly. There is a bus stop outside to get into the city but the problem is you must return by 8:30 pm. Nothing else around the park for food or entertainment. It is about a 10-15 minute drive into the riverfront district of Savannah, which by the way, you can find parking on the city streets for your RV.
This place was awesome! Campground hosts were very friendly and the place was very clean. Good WiFi signal. Dog park. Lots of bike paths and a shuttle into Charleston for $10 pp round trip. Only downside was that it does not run at night.
