If you like quiet, this seems to be the place. The sites are shaded by tall pines. Some sites are a little tight. We have camped here three times now and it has never been crowded. They have a great park for little and big kids. They do have a swimming "hole" and a fishing pond. This park would be perfect if it had a pool. We camped here in '04, '05, and '06. We plan on coming back again.
The staff was friendly and directed us to our site. The sites were clean and included a fire ring and picnic table. The playground was in need of repair but was still useable. The lake was weedy, but to be expected of a shallow lake in summer. The campground was busy but very quiet. We would stay here again. We camped in a fifth wheel in July 2006.
