Sites were in disrepair. Roads were not well maintained and dirt sites had not been leveled in some time. 50 Amp service seemed to be only available for those who were signed up for a long term stay. Most sites had only 30 amps. There was no cable and lakefront sites had no sewer. Facilities were very nice and it was fun to see so many deer in the park.

This is a huge park and 9 miles from Disney. We requested and received a pull thru, not realizing that pull thru sites are literally against each other. We had to help direct our neighbor in and we had to coordinate our efforts so that our slides didn't hit each other. We plugged into the same electric pole. Back in sites were a normal space apart with more breathing room, even though there were no trees on the majority of the sites. Roads are asphalt, but cracked and uneven in places. Sites are mostly level, but not private at all in most places. Private sites can be found in the "wilderness" section of the park which is wooded, but is only a very small section of the park. There is a lake with a beach, but no swimming allowed. Canoes are free. Dock is in disrepair and seems unsafe. Adult and Family pool areas extremely clean and nice. Lots of activities on site. Clean restrooms. Everyone was friendly. Easy big rig access with no overhanging branches.

We thought the park was extremely clean and the management very friendly. We came with our parents who also had a 38' motorcoach. We had an escort to our site, which was a pull thru. There were plenty of those and no trees overhead, but one section of the park had very large powerlines right next to the gravel pull thru sites. Not very attractive, but we were told that the best pull thru sites were all taken and these were the only ones available. We still had a nice lake view in the front. There really was no noise in the park at all and it was full when we went. The lake was beautiful and the pool and laundry area very clean. (We did not use the restrooms). Jacksonville Zoo only 6 miles away, and very impressive. I would not hesitate to stay here again!!
