The campground double-booked the site we were supposed to be on and kicked us off the site despite the fact we were going to be there with 5 other families, leaving us on a site on the other side of the campground. Most of the sites in the middle of the campground are small. They clearly are more interested in getting the most people in that they can, so if you don't mind feeling like a sardine or don't spend a lot of time at your camp site, you will probably be fine here. The amount of golf cart and car traffic is ridiculous. I have never camped somewhere that people literally cruise the campground the way they do here. All day and all evening the traffic rarely lets up. Most of the time it was too dangerous to walk our dogs. Speaking of which. I don't understand the $2 a day pet fee. Most places do that so they can provide pet playgrounds, trash cans, bags to clean up, etc. There is nothing like that here. Good luck even finding a trash can out around the campground. They did appear to have a lot of activities going on, and fishing is included with your camping fees (catch and release). One thing, in general it doesn't appear that the campground enforces many of their rules (number of cars per site, speed limit, quiet hours, etc), so keep that in mind.
Many of the sites in the area we stayed in (near the activities/meeting building) are not level and need to be paved or at least have some gravel put down. The weekend we were there was pretty wet and several trailers got stuck getting into and out of the sites. That said, it's a nice campground overall. They have a lot of activities and things to do. The pancake breakfast on Saturday was nice (with morning cartoons even).
Sites are relatively level. Most of the sites are just far enough apart to get out the slide and awning. There are a few sites that have trees that will prevent you from putting your awning out though (I think maybe site 6 or 8, on the right hand side as you pull into the campground). The staff is extremely helpful. They have 2 pet playgrounds with lots of shade. Several tandem camp sites. Considering how close it is to I-75, it is really pretty quiet, but you are still close to all the amenities you might need.
