Location great. Short walk to ocean and town of Pismo beach. I'm not sure it would be so enjoyable on a busy summer weekend. Well maintained and a great free Wi-Fi system. Lots of channels on cable. Bathrooms were "California clean." I'm a native Californian who has traveled extensively throughout U.S., and standards of cleanliness in almost everywhere else is much higher. Grout on floors dirty and I realized the little white tiles on the floor made it look like tissues were there I thought. Sites close to each other, but the park has lots to offer. Restaurant closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so we didn't get to try it although it would have been convenient for us to use.

Narrow sites. Good paved road. Caters to seasonal retired folks. Staff and residents seemed nice. Three pools and 3 shower areas so that was good and accessible and very clean. We only stayed two nights. Lots of activities offered. We had problems first day with TengoInternet, but the 2nd day, connection and getting set up much better. No way to buy TengoInternet code for a second computer. At other parks, I paid $5 so that we both could use our computers at the same time. The lady checking us in, said there was no way to give me a 2nd code even though she had a clipboard full of the slips. Very quiet spot.

Big sites. Lots of lovely palm trees. Toilet , showers for overnight folks not quite as nice as main facilities. I wish all parks would charge for wi-fi to insure a nice strong consistent connection. With the reasonable rate, paying $2 for wi-fi was still a good deal because it WORKED! Great paved roads to ride bikes around. We got there for movie day. ARGO was showing, and they even had popcorn. Very friendly folks. Tennis courts, warm pool. Lots of activities. Great park.

The bathrooms were old and dated but clean. I like that they had paper towels. Yes, friendly and fast check in. Level campsites, good hookup, easy in and out of sites and campground . Nice long pull-throughs. Very helpful staff. Good strong Wi-Fi. Lots of good channels on cable TV and good reception. Wi-Fi better than a lot of the fancy expensive parks. We will be back when traveling through. We used discount card from another campground, 20% off.

Just the size of park we like. Wonderful setting on the river. Big flat sights. Friendly managers. Strong wifi. Hubbie thought it was a bit slow. Cable tv great picture but it had some fuzziness. OK, clean bathrooms. Great hot water and strong in the individual showers. Only drawback is roads not paved, but not a big deal. The pool looked well maintained, but we didn't use it. We will definitely stop there again. Junction doesn't have much to offer but there are nice people in the thrift shops and a nice city park at the river.

This is our 2nd stay here. Last May there were very few folks there. February was a bit crowded, but we were very happy to get a nice, close space to the bathrooms. 3 nice clean separated showers. Strong hot showers. Manager not the friendliest, but nice enough. I appreciate the morning Zumba and exercise classes and the Tuesday night cowboy jam session. Location is the best to walk to town. That's why we will stay here again. Good rate also. Good strong wi-fi and good cable TV!

Pretty basic park, but multiple showers and toilets. They were clean and modern. No paper towels or soap in the toilet/shower units. Community room was very inviting. Free coffee. Only gets a low rating because no WIFI. Must go to commons to get WIFI. Did not use the pool. Level sites. Best cable TV transmission that we've had. Water not an issue for us, but thought it was a nice touch that they gave us a gallon of water to use. I'm sure their well water is fine; it just tastes like well water.

Gets a 9 because of no good WIFI. They suggest you do your computing in the commons area. They are on TengoNet. If we had a Verizon or AT&T data plan, then we would probably stay there forever. My husband thought he didn't like KOAs, but this changed his attitude. Every staff person was friendly and helpful and attentive. They immediately came and checked our TV reception. Also, came and repaired the picnic table right as soon as we reported it. We enjoyed the Friday night music on the deck, and my husband loved the $3 breakfast. Best pancakes ever! Loved being able to walk to Pier 19. Great food and cheap drinks and loved Cactus Willie live music. Lots of clean, modern shower stalls and toilets. The guests were also nice. Easy to bike to the county park and to town. Yikes,Texans don't seem to like bicyclists! We called to get our site, and so we had a great bargain I think for South Padre Island--only $44. She seemed to try and discourage us because they were small, but we were fine for 5 days. Husband says he would upgrade if we were there longer. Great park. Pool warm also.

It gets an 8 for its location. This is an old, rustic park with very small sites. Hard to maneuver. However, grass at most of the sites, and flowers and plants are a nice touch. There was only one bathroom and shower combo. Man checking us in did not mention that it needed a key and a $5 deposit so I had to go back to the office. This was the most we ever paid for a site. However, husband does not like to stay in the big 1000 unit large parks like the ones in town. People staying there seemed very nice and friendly. Bernies on Wednesday night is fun. WiFI was nonexistent. We were able to get on an unsecured wifi from another source for most of the time.

Close and convenient to Alamo and River Walk. The Walmart close-by on Military Highway was HORRIBLE! Crowded both times we were there and NEVER any carts inside or out in the parking lot! It was crazy! Sites were very close together. Used the propane that was on-site which was a good convenience. The bathrooms and showers were nice and modern. WIFI was very good. Very crowded on the presidents birthday weekend so we were lucky to get a spot, and of course, couldn't choose to be close to restrooms like we like.

Everything was great. Just got a "9" because husband noticed road noise. Showers and restrooms were good and modern. The two shower stalls need a curtain to separate them. Laundry room was clean. There was always someone around who was cleaning the washer/dryers. There was a lot of pride in the maintenance of the whole park. Loved the bird viewing area. If we were staying longer, we would have used the hiking/biking trail next to the park. Wi-fi was very good. She forgot to tell me it was $5 extra for a 2nd computer with TengoNet. It was worth it to have consistent strong wi-fi. Cable TV also good. Del Rio had nothing to offer us. They need rehab funds to save some of their old buildings downtown.

An excellent park from the first experience. The people registering us, camp helpers, were extremely enthusiastic and helpful about what to do in the area. I really like and appreciate that. It was very well laid out, easy to get in and out. Bathrooms were immaculate. Shower area good and had strong hot water! As in most everywhere we go, wifi is weak, especially in the evening when others are downloading their Skype and movies. Enjoyed the new bar at the hotel downtown and Big Bend is in the area.

Very well maintained. Paved. Convenient. Some freeway noise. Great individual showers. Very, very clean. Didn't offer any info at check in, but pleasant enough when asked. Didn't know about coffee in the morning, but a nice touch. New and nicely furnished common room. For that price, wifi should work better. They don't tell you to put up antennae with the cable TV for network channels. Too windy to put up antennae. When I made reservations, they unnecessarily put us in a large corner premier pull through. There were lots of regular pull throughs we would have fit. Guess we are still learning about making sure I ask all the right questions.

This is a bank owned property, but check in staff working for the management company and are very nice and helpful. They allowed us to use two back ins as a pull, through. Like the other comments, it is not well maintained. No soap in the bathrooms. No heat in the bathrooms. Paper towel dispenser coming off the wall. Both female and male bathrooms marginal. One of the pools and spa closed. It is convenient to town.

We were very appreciative of the owners to fit us in. They were very full. They seem to cater to rally's. They are planning to charge for their one shower. They expect only Independent units and people to use their own units toilets and showers. There was no hot water in the one shower. We are used to using the facilities shower so that was surprising to us. Nice big TV in the club house and a hard wired Internet in the clubhouse which was used to pay bills. It was frustrating that there was no WiFi in our unit. They block big downloads like Netflix. Very very nice owners ...just run differently than what we expect.

This is basically a copy of another review. This is one of our favorite parks. It is excellent. Very clean and tidy smaller campground. Each space has a cement pad and a little landscaping with plenty of room for rigs with slides on both sides and a tow car. There is also a pretty little cactus garden with a picnic table. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and pointed us in the direction of several sights we would have missed otherwise. Strong Verizon and Wi-Fi signal.
