Great owner. Took very good care of us. Recommended two local restaurants and the hardware store and the grocery store. We were there in off season to see the Craters of the Moon so there were only about 3-4 of us there at any one time. Park had huge grass areas between each of the spaces and limber pine trees everywhere. The restrooms were the first we found that had rugs! And they were very clean. Water pressure was great. Gorgeous location. We stayed three nights. We would stay here again.

The road into this place is rough and you wonder if you should be going in here but it's a nice place. The good: LONG pull throughs. Enough to put two motor homes end to end. Lots of space between neighbors. Off the highway which is better than the others in town which are right next to the interstate. Quiet, half full, good owners, and good internet. Close to Abilene attractions. The Bad: one person had 4 loud dogs chained outside, which made it scary to walk near them, and the owners would not do anything about it. Bathroom/laundry room needed to be cleaned out daily. We stayed 4 nights.

We look for a couple of things when we stay at a park. Good owners/managers. Clean sites, no "yucky" people/RVs, space between the sites, and nice environment. This place has all of the above. Plus, our site (which we asked for) was #41. It had the best view of the highway going west towards El Paso. Fantastic view! Terrific owners. This is our second stay here. We stayed 4 nights while seeing the sites around the area. We will stay here again.

We spent 6 nights here while exploring the countryside. The owner and manager were great. Very helpful and friendly. They're working daily to improve the park for their guests. Windy most of the time but great views from the sites. Shopping is nearby with terrific restaurants. Within easy driving distance of downtown Austin, but most of what we needed was much closer. State highway out front but not noisy. Quiet at night. Peaceful place. We would stay here again.

The park we initially wanted to stay at was closed for the season. They recommended this one: and we're VERY thankful that they did. This park is right in the middle of town, so, not only could we visit Mesa Verde park, but got to experience the great local flavor of Cortez. The hosts were extremely helpful with our extra requests. Like loaning me an air compressor to fill up my tires. The bathrooms were immaculate, the showers were roomy and private and cleaned daily. We would stay here again.

We stayed in the new area: a very large gravel area with lots of room for our motorhome and toad. Wi-Fi was terrific. Gorgeous skies at night. Hosts were very helpful with roads and conditions. The park was less than 50% occupied when we stayed there so I would've liked the rate to be a bit lower for the off season. We would stay here again.

RV park was very well maintained. Host came over and helped us with an informative tour of the facilities and even offered his pickup so we could go to the store for groceries. Nice place to run in the morning; good paved paths. Roomy sites. Great sunsets and sunrises. We would stay here again.

Very nice park. Not very full when we were there as it was the start of summer and mid-week. Restrooms and showers were clean. Nice hikes in the forest nearby. Never noticed the trucks going by on Highway 89. Staff was very helpful. On-site restaurant was average. We would stay here again.

Very nice staff. We asked for a shady spot and were able to get it for our stay here. This is the second time we've stayed here. Easy access in and out and easy to get to from Highway 5. Lots to see and do around Red Bluff. Grocery store withing walking distance is not that large but has all the essentials. Steak house has good staff, ambiance, but food is average. Mexican place is fantastic. Well maintained. Quiet. We would stay here again.

I called a few days early to see about availability and the Staff was very helpful. No tents as it was November. Only 6-8 Trailers/RVs in park so it was peaceful. Good hookups. Wireless worked if the office was in "line of sight." Great shady spots so our coach with the cats was kept cool as it was in the 80s during our 5 night stay. Good market in town and nice local restaurants. Easy check in. Pool was closed as it was after season. River views were lovely and peaceful. We would stay here again.
